HENGDA KITE Large Power Snake Kites with Flying Line Outdoor Fun Sports Kite

I really liked this kite! I flew it at the beach where there was a pretty steady strong wind. It took right off from my hand and never really had a problem. In a shifting wind or if the wind slows you have to watch it. It won't dive but it will just start sinking so you just need to reel it in to keep the line tight.I like that it was simple to carry, no strings to get tangled and I was easily able to get it back in the little bag it comes in. Some instructions would have been nice but its obvious where the sticks go and you just tie the loops over the sticks and then tail is pretty obvious where it ties on as well. You can just leave it all tied after you pull the sticks out and fold it up.A year later.... A rod broke while assembling on the beach. Be careful assembling in the wind. A gust came up and lifted the tip while I was holding the rod and it snapped. Not sure there is a replacement available so I'll need to find something that length to replace it.

If you are a free spirit like me, you are a kite flyer!I taught my children to fly kites and now they are teaching their children the thrill of kite flying.This kite is the most amazing kite I ever flown.It is easy to put together and it soars and rolls in the air as it takes flight.The green and black stripes on the tail give an amazing illusion as it coils in the air.It is a very long kite.I also purchased a reel of kite string of 500 feet.My 6 year old grandson had the string to the end of the spool in 10 minutes.He squelled and jumped for joy as the kite sailed above us. The look on his face as he could feel the kite pulling on his arms as we were feeling pure bliss.It's magic pure magic to fly kites together.This tradition will surely be passed on to his children.

My 8-year-old son picked this out this kite from the choices available to him on Amazon, and he loves it. The tail is so long it's kind of crazy. You need a lot of open space to fly it because if that tail starts whipping around, it covers a lot of area. It doesn't take a lot of wind to get the kite started, but it does take a decent breeze to get the whole thing up in the air and to get it to stay there. In a strong wind it could have quite a bit of pull for small children. My 8-year-old has had no issues, so far. The tail is removable, but if you take it off, you need to add something else as a small tail to balance it out, otherwise it doesn't stay up. You could also cut the tail down in size, if you wish, but you don't need to do that. If it's a very light breeze, take some light streamer material and tie it to the two buttons where the tail attaches, and you'll be able to fly high in very light breezes. The kite looks amazing when it's in the air and moving back and forth. We're very happy with it, especially at this price.

I've had this kite for awhile and have put it through a lot. It still holds its shape and when it flew into a canal, I just wash it off and let it dry and it's good to go. Lasted longer then a few of my kites. It goes up with ease almost Everytime. People I've taken kite flying who have never flown a kite have no problem with this one. Tail rolls up nicely and compact... Still flying this one And it looks really cool in the sky.

This kite is awesome. My kid broke it in 3 places but I don’t blame the kite, I blame my kid. We flew it when there was no wind, and it crashed it and dragged it many times in a short period of time. With normal use it would have been just fine I’m pretty sure. He splinted one of the sticks by jamming and assembling it incorrectly which weakened the entire kite. But we kept flying it before fixing it and the stick poked through two points in the fabric because it was shorten when it broke. Long story short is I easily fixed it when we got home and it still works. This kite looks awesome, flys easy, and it SUPER long!

All kites seem to be made "cheaply" to me, meaning lightweight with fabric that tears easily, crappy attachment points, etc. While this one is not going to blow you away with it's ruggedness, it will certainly get the job done. It's higher quality than I expected, and sufficiently durable to hold up in a pretty strong wind. Flew it at the beach one day in steady 10-15MPH wind and it performed beautifully. Flew it the next day (much windier, 20MPH+) and the kite handled it fine. The tail is MUCH longer than I expected, and adds a really nice, fun element to the kite. Overall, definitely worth the price.

This kite is so much fun and easy to use. It looks beautiful in the air. The tail is so long. The quality is also good.

I had great expectations for this kite. It's long so I thought it would be very stable. Above about a 15 mph wind it does not fly stable, loses control too easily and crashes. I have a $4 kite from Walmart that gets up better in light winds and is more stable in higher winds (I did make modifications to it to get it to be more stable; longer tail. I tried somethings with this kite but nothing made it fly better.
