This is a bit of a beast, but perfect for EDC if you want a big knife.
This "pocket" knife is, honestly, wonderful! I'd like to have seen a bearing in the hinge, but that aside, it opens relatively smoothly and doesn't require a super strong wrist flick to open. The flipper is the perfect size to flip the knife open and the knife as a whole fits in the hands of someone with medium to large hands. The blade is of reasonably good quality and the edge held up to 2 weeks of regular box cutting without a need to sharpen (just regular honing). The pocket clip was SUPER tight when I first got it, but a little bit of adjustment had it perfect. My only complaint is the size. At just shy of 5 1/2" (or 136mm using a reasonable system) closed and 9 1/4" (or 234mm) open, this is a big knife. The blade itself is 3 7/8" (or 99mm), so make sure it's legal to carry concealed in your state before buying! This knife has a good, aggressive blade angle that doesn't feel all that sharp to begin with but, after breaking down several dozen boxes, felt and looked exactly as new. I'm honestly impressed with the edge considering it has some pretty average (for quality knifemakers) steel. The only reason I'm not carrying this knife every day is the fact it's only 1/8" shy of being illegal to carry concealed and I wanna stay on the safer side of the law.Overall, if you want a great quality knife with a solid edge and good quality parts, you'll get a phenomenal value for your money here.

CRKT M16-04Z EDC Folding Pocket Knife
I bought one of these knives years ago and still have it and I decided to buy another one. The first model I bought is the M16-14 serrated with the aluminum handle. This one is the M16-04Z with the Zytel handle. Both are great knives. The thing I really like about the 14 & 04 (14 being the serrated model and 04 being the plain blade model) series CRKT knives is the fact they are large enough to replace a fixed blade knife but small enough to carry in your pocket. They also have the LAWKS locking system which locks the blade in place with the flick of the switch when open so you can use it like a fixed blade and not have to worry about the blade accidentally closing on your fingers. I don't use this as an EDC knife because of it's shear size and intimidation factor, but it does make a great woods knife for hunting, camping & hiking. I've always liked the AUS8 steel and have found it holds an edge well and it's also easy to hone to a razor sharp edge when sharpened properly. The blade deploys smoothly on both of my knives. I recommend these to anyone who spends a lot of time in the outdoors and needs a good work horse folding knife.

Completion
I stumbled upon this knife while walking on a snow covered parking lot. The knife was half open, sticking blade up out of the snow. The moment I chiseled it from its sad resting place I knew I had found a treasure. A treasure that would complete my life, how much I knew not. A thousand cherubims sang as I pulled the beautiful artifact from the grips of its icy grave. I went straight home and cleaned the remaining snow and ice out of its perfect folds and crevices. The knife was surprisingly rust free! Never in all my days had I seen such a blade. As I held it in my hand I felt a sudden sensation of joy rush through my being. For the next 14 months this knife was by my side through thick, thing, high, low, hot and cold. It was with me everywhere i went. It aided me in all my adventures cutting through countless objects with ease. Moments that once were filled with boredom were then filled with excitement as I flipped the knife open and than closed it again. The knob on the back of the knife made it a pleasure to open with just one hand. The double locking system made its blade as sturdy and fixed as it could be. Its weight, build, strength, sharpness, looks, and locking system were unlike any other knife I had ever experienced. The knifes size was perfect in every way, it fit perfectly in my pocket and even better in the palm of my hand. I truly felt completed with this knife only to have it swiped during my deepest sleep. If it hadn't been for the exhausting laborous day, previous to my slumber, I might have been aware enough to apprehend the thief. Which, of course, would have been followed with the spilling of his intestines by my bedside. Regrettably, when I awoke, the knife was gone from where I had left it above my pillow. The knife that once completed me is now in the hands of him who does not deserve. The only thing I can think to do is buy its equivalent from amazon.. I just hope that one day the punk that stole my knife will feel a deep sorrow for his wrongdoing and repent in the deepest and sincerest way. Do I recommend this knife? of course I do. I cant live with out it, how can you?
