Aladdin Chocolate Assortment Gift Box by Marabou (500 gram)

Perhaps the best all-around chocolates we (chocophiles) have ever had. Great balance of chocolate to sugar, nice variety of bonbons, and small enough that you can enjoy 3 or 4 at a time. (Unline SOME bonbons from other companies, that are too big)

This product is no longer the fine interesting box of chocolates it used to be. It’s now filled with creamy fruit pieces which many might enjoy. But it is not the Alladin that I expected so it was a disappointment.

I should have read the reviews and not ordered. It came in a soft envelope and naturally the box was warped and a corner ruined. It was ordered as a gift and I can’t give something that looks like it’s been smashed up and there’s no guarantee the chocolate in the box is looking like either. It may very well be smashed as well. I do love this chocolate however. A childhood holiday staple.

My wife, who is originally from Sweden, was beyond ecstatic when she found out that she could order Aladdin in this country. The boxes we ordered arrived ahead of schedule and we gave one to our adult daughter who was equally happy. The only thing we'll do differently the next time is not order during the hottest part of the year. Two or three candies were a little melted, but we ate them anyway.

It may just be my palate, but I found these too sweet. The flavors are good and the chocolates taste rich or not cheap tasting. For the price, they have a good quality taste...again...just for me, some of them taste too sweet.

All the flavors I like were the best. I'm not a huge fan of orange and chocolate, or just chocolate truffle - but the people I shared those ones with also loved them.The chocolate is so creamy and smooth. The flavors are super tasty.Worth every penny.
