Germinate before planting
What a job ive had to get these beans to germinate in a pot, used john innes seed compost, popped them in the greenhouse nothing happened. Tried again with a second lot... nothing.Left some of the beans in a plastic bag in the bottom of my gardening bag by accident and they had obviously become wet at some point, when i discovered them it took me a while to figure out what they were and what had happened as all of the beans had germinated, i very carefully seperated them and planted them in ordinary compost..... they all survived and are growing steadily, the original potted ones have not grown at all. Shall always germinate in a damp bag in future.

excellent & very easy to get bumper crop
bought these 10 May 2015, just planting out the last 50 or so in June 2019. Do take their time to get going but then rapidly up & climbing over 6'. Attractive flowers great crop. Had no trouble with pests, they take no work at all don't even need to tie them up. Must be easy as I can get good crops & I'm useless. I put ~10 seeds in shallow 8-10" round pots of soil or shop bought compost in March then in early June they show themselves & I put the whole pot content in final garden position.

Great tasting Beans, not too big, constant crop
My husband bought these seeds and grew the beans outside in our back garden (when ready to plant out). He's very happy with them and will grow them again this summer. We've had a very good crop from them, constantly ready for picking over several weeks. Had to start freezing some, there were that many. You can't beat freshly picked, home grown Beans from your own garden with your meals.

French Bean Blue Lake Seeds
Only used a small proportion of these seeds but pleased to report a high germination rate in the greenhouse ... to the extent I've had to give some away. Currently about 12" high against their trellis in the garden and they're very happy with the sun/rain periods we're experiencing.

Nicest tasting and nicest looking beans!
Not a great germination rate but you get loads and the ones that grow grow very big. I transplanted just one up a fence to see what they'd be like and now I wish I'd planted a few more as it produces those lovely round green beans, my favourite kind that usually grow on small bushes. Will definitely plant more next year and probably stop with the dwarf varieties as these are the nicest I've tasted.

Excellent Heavy Cropos of Stringless French Beans
I much prefer these Climbing French Beans as, compared too the more usual Dwarf varieties, they give a much heavier crop and also keep the beans off the ground - away from splashes and the dreaded slugs. Another similar variety is 'Cobra'.

Germination rate 100% of planted seeds.
Loads of seeds in the packet so very good value. Donated some to the primary school allotment club & still have some left for next year
