Slicing tomatoes and onions isn't a problem, with the thin design the slices don't stick and you can go very thin. It's my go to knife for all things and it's light, very little strain on wrists.

It was dangerously sharp out the box. It’s very brittle but can hold an edge. Needs a cover. Very nice!

Gave this to my son. Huge hit. To start with, The knife is beautiful. The Damascus steel and wooden handle are simply gorgeous. But the five star part of this review is all about the blade, steel, and sharpness. Our family loves to cook and we have many knives from many manufacturers. So far this one rises to the top.
