This product arrived quickly. It looks and works wonderfully. It also includes an overhead light panel, which was a nice touch I wasn't actually expecting. There is installation involved, but it's simple and only requires a screwdriver. The directions it come with direct you to an online installation manual.I purchased this extremely nice and conveniently sized piece of lab equipment instead of cheaper options because of how nice it is. You are getting what you paid for. I know it's going to be a solid investment for years to come.

When I ordered the product it came missing a part, the seller got back to me and sent the missing part right away. Now that I have the missing part, the flow hood works exactly as advertised. It was also easy to assemble, despite having no instructions. Overall it is sturdy and well made. Having worked with many laboratory grade laminar flow hoods before, I can tell you that for this price point, you will not find a better laminar flow hood.

When i recieved the item it was easy to put together but i have some construction experience and thankfully i did because there was no user manual included.. I contacted the seller and never heard back from them. This is a pretty high dollar purchase for this kind of service. Not impressed at all and the laminar flow was missing a filter. But I guess that was not included either, Or maybe that’s why the user manual was not included. Seems like somebody’s trying to hide something. But that’s OK you got my money that’s all that matters right?

The media could not be loaded. Was getting constant mold costing me a fortune. So excited to have problem fixed! Definitely worth the money. Perfect size! Plenty big enough, way more room the my still air bin. So pretty in my lab!

It’s been my understanding that you can test laminar flow by holding a candle or lighter in front of the hood, and move it all through the workspace. It should stay bent the same amount, no matter where you put it. If it blows harder in the center than at the edges, the central air is moving faster, thus you wouldn't have laminar flow. When testing this product by holding a lighter in the center front of the hood, and move it all through the workspace, the flame does not bend at all in the center and to the right, it’s a more 45 degree were to the left its at 90 degrees. Upon investigating with SAS I came to learn that this system is laminar flow in terms of directional airflow (positive pressure). SAS does not claim that all parts of the airflow will be equal, however, they do claim that the air has been scrubbed and that the system will measure as an ISO class 5 cleanroom. I felt the description of this product is a bit misleading to that effect as SAS does specify using laminar flow to achieve an ISO class 5 clean room. However, I feel their description leaves it up to the consumer to interpret what that means. I feel SAS should be more specific this is not a true Laminar flow system. All in all, the product works as intended be it somewhat misleading in description.

Works great, plenty of headroom to move around. Just a bit of fan noise, need to turn it off when not in use.

If you are not familiar with this piece of equipment don't expect a lot of instructions when you take it out of the box. I am new to needing this in my clinic and when it arrived the assembly instructions were very vague and mentioned nothing about needing to remove the protective cardboard colored sticker that covers the entire thing. I was wondering the whole time why mine looked like an actual cardboard box once assembled when the picture when I purchased was white. I had the hardest time trying to remove all of that after assembled.
