Great product! Worth it if it's not too much vacuum for the job.
I was cautious prior to buying this and read all the negative reviews but decided to buy. Glad I did. I wanted to comment on some of the negative comments with my opinion to help skeptical buyers like myself. So, 1. the plastic wall mount base, its not to flimsy. It holds the vacuum great if you slam it around like rubber weights in the gym. 2. If you see my picture I mounted it so its supported with the attachment on to help hold the weight and prevent the bottom from being caught. It has a lot of leverage on drywall anchors if it's torqued on, as is anything mounted on sheet rock. I did this for my V7 as well and has worked great for years. 3. Use the right settings for the head when going from carpet to hardwood; the center setting or minus setting (letting in more air) and it works great. It picks up sand, cherries, screws, peanuts or what ever just fine. 4. It's not the manufactures fault there isn't an outlet in your closet. 5. The directions are vague and little under done, but this isn't a complicated item either. 6. Is this the right vacuum is the biggest question of all. I have a V7 for the second floor that is all carpet and it works great for about 1000 sq. ft. of quick clean up and is about $200 less. We went with this for the downstairs because we were too lazy to keep going upstairs and this one worked better transitioning on an off our rugs to hardwood that we on the first floor. We have a 1 year old and teenagers so this was a great addition that quickly and efficiently keep the floors clean for the baby. I'm so over swiffer mops that don't really work. 7. Deep cleaning ability is good. We have a Kirby that we use one time a year (just before we have the carpets shampooed). The other 364 days of the year the Dyson's do all the work. 8. Battery life, great in this V11. If you need more, vacuum more often or make life changes..lol. I've cleaned the whole bottom floor and used on the car and still never got below 50% on the V11. The v7 would have needed to be charged at least once for that amount. So that maybe a decision point. Lastly the V11 has been said to be unbalanced in weight and awkward. If you see the second picture and use the attachment holder it offsets the slight misbalance. But really, it is 6 lbs. if that gives you issues get a gym membership, really. Oh and the V11 has a detachable battery that the v7 doesn't. If multiple charges for long runs is what you may need then that maybe a decision point. If not you may want to save some cash and go with the v7. I've also purchased cheaper model of cordless vacuums but they don't last and preform like Dysons so you'll get what you pay for.

DYSON! V 11 Torque Dr. = Total game changer
After much consideration and after reading and watching many reviews and demos, I pull the trigger on this Dyson V11 Torque Dr. a few months ago. Amazon allowed me to do the six payment plan which was very helpful. I also bought the extended warranty. In short it’s been super, I even vacuum my cat. Total game changer. Yes it’s plastic, but it works perfect every time every day, honestly it’s almost the perfect vacuum cleaner.Pros: It’s lightweight and cleans better than anything I’ve used before, easy to steer and handle, easy to empty, easy to swap out filters, comes with all necessary attachments, great customer service, I’ve called them twice with questions, quiet, pet hair friendly my cat even lets me vacuum her she loves it!, Almost 0 emissions, Great for catching in house rogue mosquitoes, holds a charge long enough for my needs. It’s quite literally the perfect vacuum cleaner. I mainly use the auto adjustment but have used ecco successfully and the almighty powerful boost mode which will drain the battery quickly but refurbish a rug back to its new luster. I have a house with predominantly floor tile and two large floor rugs also front and back door mats; roughly 1470 sq footage. Also low profile carpet in a refurbished 2 car garage. I can maintain the entire space and clean my cat twice a day and not run out of a charge. If I’m doing heavier cleaning I will run out eventually but it charges quick enough. It was one of my big concerns and I’ve only found myself twice wishing I had further charge.Cons: my only gripe is I’ve developed a callus on the inside top of my middle finger and the right side of my thumb. Itd be nice to see a more ergonomic grip redesign that also includes a trigger lock so you don’t have to constantly pull with your finger. I did purchase a small third party plastic device that acts as a trigger lock that works OK.I would add that anybody who has a physical impairment might be challenged to operate this vacuum cleaner. Not any more or less than any other standard Upright but it is something to consider. This being cordless would be a benefit that said.I highly recommend getting extra filters and changing your filter once every couple weeks even. I do not recommend waiting for the filter change icon to appear. I believe this will help the vacuum cleaner live longer. Dyson filters run $24 apiece, I ordered this third-party manufacturer filter and they work just as well https://www.amazon.com/Wolfish-Filters-Replacements-Cordless-970013-02/dp/B07V85J4SS***Do not vacuum anything wet or any liquids; it will mess up the motor, also nothing fine like ash. I read other reviews were people have learned this the hard way. I’ve had good luck with cat hair and cat dander. It’s so awesome I can vacuum my cat!

Best investment I’ve made!
I purchased this vacuum cleaner about four years ago after reading mixed reviews. Ultimately, I decided to buy from this specific seller due to their highly positive feedback. I must say, I'm not disappointed. My vacuum is still going strong after all these years. It charges fairly quickly, and the suction power is exceptional. It effortlessly picks up all the dog hairs, which is a big plus for me as a pet owner with multiple dogs. Additionally, I love the attachments it comes with; they make cleaning even easier and more efficient. However, I do find it a little heavy to maneuver, and when using the attachments, it can dig into the skin slightly. Despite these minor drawbacks, the performance and efficiency make it a worthwhile purchase for me. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my Dyson purchase.
