This is an amazing lamp!!! It dims and has a timer on the remote. It’s slim and sleek and does not take up space.

Distinctly dimmer than a 30W halogen. I could not read under this lamp unless it were stuffed almost in my face. To add insult to injury, the controls (they dangle loose on a cable, not attached to the lamp in any firm way) pollute the room with bright blue LED light while it is switched off and you're trying to sleep. When the lamp is on, if you want to adjust the brightness, you are forced to cycle repeatedly through all of the levels while holding down the switch, there are no plus/minus buttons for brightness. As if all of this weren't enough, the thing totters when you so much as brush against it with one hand, there is no substantial weight in the base (it is simply a small cross made of the same lightweight aluminum tube as the rest of the lamp.) This is one of the most disappointing products I have ever purchased on Amazon.

My wife does a lot of needlework whole relaxing on the sofa in the evening. Lighting has always been an issue in that area of the living room. This lamp is slim enough to fix exactly where we needed it and the height is adjustable so she is really happy with it for her craft work. It easily swings out of the way and can be used as a floor lamp and the remote is a nice bonus.

I loved the light at first. It was easy to assemble and pretty bright for what I use it for. It is used in my office. So after about 3 months the light randomly went out while I was working. Then after about 30 seconds it flickered and came back on. Been doing it on and off ever since. If it wasn't for that issue I would give this a better rating. LED lights should last a long time and it shouldn't flicker like it does. UPDATE: After a few weeks of flickering the light no longer works at all!

Unfortunately, I let the return date pass me by. I got this for next to my recliner and it doesn't really have a shade, so bothered everyone in the room. So moved it to my sewing machine and isn't bright enough to help there either. I like the timer so I don't sit in front of my sewing machine too long. I got a headlamp that works much better for sewing.

I really liked this lamp. I did not have it a year, and actually set it up after 3 months from purchase date. It worked fine at first. After a few weeks the light button on the lamp as well as the remote did not work. I contacted Vorally but received no answer. Upon checking my message I saw a notice that the response box had closed. Bummer.

The lamp is a lot taller than I thought it would be. So, I just took one pole stick out so it would be a good height for me. Also, the cord is pretty short so you can't really move it that far away from the outlet. It's not a problem for me, but I just noticed this. In all, I really liked this product because it fits its description and the remote control makes it so convenient. The different light settings are pretty good as well. I would say one setting could be brighter than the other, but since you can control the brightness you won't be able to tell the difference. This is my favorite lamp by far because of the ease it has already provided me.

Cheaply made, matches price point. Not nearly bright as I need it to be. 8W should’ve been a clue. Will need to place it directly over whatever you need to see. Already shopping for a REAL LED LIGHT. Oh, and I believe it’s meant to be disposable (as this one will be) when the light burns out, if I keep it that long.
