JSP Manufacturing® 2 Pack Car Boat Marine Speaker Adapter Plate 6x9 5x7 6x8 to 5.25"

Could not adapt a 5x7 speaker to a 6x9 hole. It looks like you can break out the smaller sizes to fit the speaker into the adapter plate, but it is very hard material and cracks. That's how I destroyed the first one. Then I tried cutting out the shape of a 5x7 speaker out of the adapter plate with a dremel. Eventually I had it cut out and placed it on the speaker and then found out that when you cut out the shape, there's no way to attach the adapter plate to the speaker. The guide lines go through the mounting holes rendering them useless. In the end, I wish I could undo this order, get my money back, and go by 6x9 speakers that fit correctly. in the end, that's what I did. Save your money, buy the right speaker size.

They fit the speakers I used and fit my doors so if needed I will definitely buy again.

These are advertised as working for 6.5 to 6.8, but they are way too small. I had to cut them down till there was nothing left. Ended up scrapping and making my own out of 1/8" plywood (luann).

No able to use itIt broke on the holed area corner while trying to make them fit on a 6x8

Great product works just the way you supposed to

The hole isnt for a 6.5 its for a 5 1/4 , i also had to grind the hole all the way till there was about 1/8 of an inch left from left to right and the abs its realli tough to cut , if you try to use a router or a grinder the abs melts real quick
