High quality knife for the price!
This is my go-to knife in the kitchen. Great handle and weight so it feels nice in the hand. Holds an edge nicely and is a high quality! Would recommend!

Beautiful affordable high quality nakiri knife
Full disclosure: I'm a bit of a kitchen knife junkie. Got way more than I will ever need, though that is beside the point. I have some expensive knives (Shun, Zwilling, and others) and as a sort of hobby collect various brands to try. This is the first TUO Phoenix series knife, and it is wonderful. The quality is great, the balance among the best, and it came really sharp. Then there are the esthetics -- this is plainly a beautifully knife with the pakkawood grainy handle. Itis somewhat lighter than some other nakiri knives I have used. The beveled bolster is both graceful and useful - it makes the pinch grip easier to use. So I keep coming back to this knife for daily use. Could not recommend any higher. But I love my Shun Classic knives too.

So nice
Very happy with this, it’s very sharp just what I was looking for. I shredded cabbage finely with it made it so easy.

Very, very nice, generally...
I ordered the 5" utility first. It came is a very nice box. It looks very nice and very well sharpened. The pakkawood handle is very impressive. The writing on the knife is raised, so you will feel it when you move your fingers over it. I was so impressed with it that I ordered a nakiri and a Chinese cleaver. The nakiri arrived first and the cleaver second. All of them in nice packaging as expected. However, the nakiri, as good looking as it was, its fit and finish it's not up to par. Where the handle meets the metal there is a gap and you call feel it when you move your finger over. That is why I returned it and I knocked down one star. The cleaver is impressive also. Some people are asking why these do not have a pouch or blade protector? I am going to tell you why: because these are made to be hung on a wall, that's why they look that good. These are machine made, you can see it when you look careful. For the price, I wasn't expecting handmade. I would recommend them, with the caveat that the quality is not consistent.

Pretty!
Have both the santoku and the nakiri. Fantastic fit and finish for $30 knives. Attractive, well balanced, and razor sharp right out of the box, which is itself giftably pretty. Tapered bolster makes for a comfortable pinch grip and the smooth wooden handle fills the palm nicely. I'll be using these for life.

Love my new knife.
Makes my life so much easier but cut myself cleaning it and it was awful for over a week. But will not be shining it anymore. 👎🩸
