NO DUST. NO SMELL. NO GOING BACK.
i have 13 cats in my house. 13. let that sink in.i foster animals for the humane society, and after using every litter i could get my hands on, my house still smelled of pee within 3 days of changing litter. no amount of baking soda, scooping, air freshers or anything worked. YOU CANNOT SMELL THIS. unless you have the nose of a bloodhound or pregnant woman, you will not smell cat litter or cat waste when you use this. it absorbs the smell. a litterbox sits next to my toilet. i can't smell it even while on the toilet. my husband who smokes can't even smell it then. My house, with 13 cats, has NO CAT SMELL. there is no dust. it's light. it clumps so much better than anything I've ever used. it pours like coffee grounds and there is no dust. perfect for my asthmatic family members. i am never going back. YOU NEED THIS. I NEEDED THIS THE WHOLE TIME.

The worst product I have ever used
The worst product I have ever used. Extremely dusty, messy and gets tracked everywhere. My entire bathroom was covered in dust from this product. Completely false claims on the packaging. Seriously it is the worst. I ended up throwing away the rest of the bag because I wasn't about to use it for another week. It was a terrible experience every time I had to clean the cat toilet. Nothing clumps, it breaks down into little pieces and took extra long to clean. As you can see by the pictures it leaves residue all over the place. Unfortunately when I bought this product, I didn't see some of the other negative reviews I just went off of rating. I honestly don't know how this product has a high rating or why anybody would continue to buy this. Other than the fact that it might be better for the environment than clay sands, that's probably the only good thing about it.

No more stinky litter box!
Ok so 8 months ago I found two kittens and as I am not a cat person...they were so tiny (about 4 or 5 weeks old) I couldn't leave them outside...especially since I almost ran them over with my car. I brought them home with the intention of finding them a home but I fell in love. So my fur babies are part of my family now.I have been going through horrible smelly litter box issues. I have used several different types of litter and stayed using tidy cat for a long time because I thought it was the best one in consideration with the others but even after sifting and constantly deodorizing the litter boxes for my cats...the smell was intolerable.I bought a kitty door for my sliding glass doors and put the litter boxes on my balcony, that helped a bit but all it did was leave me with a stinky balcony. The money I spent on litter was putting a hole in my pocket because I would have to replace the litter every 3 to 4 days as the stench would be so unbearable I had to change the whole litter often and because I have two litter boxes...that is a whole container for two!I recently went to my friends house who I haven't seen in years and saw her cat but didn't smell a litter box. I have to admit I was jealous that she had cats with no smelly litter...she showed me this litter and I was sold! She said she changes the whole litter once a month or sometimes once every two months and she simply shifts daily. The very next day I bought a big bag and put it to use. It has been a week and NO SMELL! I am totally amazed at how good this litter works. Even with their feces and urine in it, it holds the smell! While I am sifting it, I don't smell anything...this stuff truly is good litter! It clumps just fine, I don't know, why other reviews say that it doesn't, I guess you have to wait and give the urine a chance to harden before sifting...sifting right after may be the problem for the other persons review where it fell apart. I also saw another review about red paws due to the color of the litter, my cats have white paws and they are nothing but white when they are done using the litter so I wouldn't say that it causes red paws. Perhaps if their paws are wet but why would their paws be wet? Anyhow, I would totally recommend this litter to anyone...this has really been a great discovery for me.Tidy cat is anything but tidy, Blue Buffalo...you're a keeper! My cats and I are fans! Thank you for making a product that holds up to expectations.

Dust free? You're a crack head
Dust with cat litter is my number one no no. I dont want a cat feces cloud all over me. This product claims to be dust free and lots of reviews say dust free, but that is a lie. When i poured the new litter, a red dust cloud. When you scoop, red poopy dust cloud. Also this is a bi polar cat litter, sometimes it clumps great other times it kinda clumps but is mostly sludge. I dont get it. There's zero order control and i used this with one cat. My house smelled like there were 10 cats. Also! Yes i have more complaints, it stays wet and sticks to your kitties paws then creating a nasty poopy mess outside the litter box. It was just crap in a bag...

When it works its great, we went from regular clay little to Shwheat
When it works its great, we went from regular clay little to Shwheat, to the world's best cat littler and then to the naturally fresh. We loved the odor control that you get from the woodsy walnut smell, we love that a bag of little can last 2 weeks + and my husband the scooter loves that it doesn't get all over his cloths and in his nostrils. I am sure you hear a but coming, and its a big one.three bags that I ordered in three months came infested with mites, the first time it happened I thought it must be a fluke, since I have only heard of corn based litters being infested with mites, it took days for us to get rid of the tiny, microscopic, bugs which coated our covered litterbox in a light white dusting of insect bodies which crawled slowly over all surfaces. our littler enclosure is made from a cabinet, so we actually had a water heater on top and it was COVERED in these creatures.So... thinking it must have to do with how it was stored in the amazon warehouse and maybe mine was stacked next to some corn based litter, i drove to the local pet store and bought another 2 bags of the litter. Both bags are infested. the little suckers are smaller than a rice grain but there are THOUSANDS of them.so... in conclusion, if you are lucky and get a clean batch they work great, but with our batting average we are going back to the drawing board.

Dusty film everywhere
The litter box is kept in a bathroom that no one uses and there is a constant brown dust film on the counters, floors, mirror, bathtub, everywhere! The brown dust gets on her paws and anything she touches right after being in the litter is brown. Sick of this litter, am not buying it anymore. Doesn't clump fast, I'm scraping wet walnut mud from the bottom of the box every day. Clumps break easily making the litter dirtier because you can't scoop out the little bits. This litter ends up really smelly after a few uses. I'll have to repaint the walls where she stretches after using the box because everything is brown.

Light, dust free and hides well but is expensive.
Was using pine pellets previously because I thought they were the best for my two cats. Well this kitty litter doesn’t have any dust and lasts a lot longer, aroma wise, as in doesn’t smell at all for a longer time period. I put the kitty litter box on the balcony year round so sometimes I forget to scoop daily. For that reason the dark brown colour of the litter is perfect as it does not look 👀 as if it has anything inside so not as gross looking at first glance. In comparison to amount of pine litter for the price I find this very expensive yet don’t have to change as often.

Do not like as much as Pine Pellets.
I thought I would try this as it is pretty natural but the colour (brown) makes it hard to see what you need to scoop out and it is very hard in texture so does not seem to absorb as well as the Pine Pellet product I use.

Great litter but odd mouldy scent
I have only ever used Blue litter for my cat and was so happy when Amazon started selling it! Having it delivered to my door is easier than having to carry a huge bag from the pet store. Oddly though, each time I have purchased this through Amazon, it has a mouldy smell to it. Thankfully this has no deterred my cat from using his litter but the smell is a bit of an issue when the litter is poured into his box.Recently I purchased at the pet store (primarily because my last order was intended to arrive within two days with Prime but it instead took four, which had me running to the pet store to stock up while I waited....UNHAPPY) and it did not smell like mould. I am not sure WHY the same brand through Amazon has this odd odour?

Love it!
This litter is great!! It is very low on the dust compared to every other litter ive tried that is ground down material. Anything that has been grounded down is guanranteed to have some dust.My sensitive kitty has had no problem switching to this litter and it does not smell bad and is easily scooped. It actually much more pleasant than the potent scented litter that you just know your breathing in as you try to gently scoop it. I could see if the litter doesnt get scooped on a regular basis or there are several cats using the same litter, its going to get messy and smelly.I have a large litter box for one cat which i scoop every second day and i have no mess, no fuss no bad smells.Just a tip for all you lovely people, the litter locker is an awesome way to keep your scooped litter from smelling while you wait for garbage day! Check it out! :)
