Typical metal rings. Way cheaper then getting some at Walmart real test is time though. Hopefully they don’t rust.

These were exactly what I was looking for. I only gave 4 stars because I feel like they could clasp and unclasp easier. I didn't want to use plastic rings again, especially since I was hanging a shower curtain in my laundry room. With these, it looks more industrial and not as much like I used a shower curtain as a room divider. I also bought an extra long shower curtain so it would be long enough. They work perfectly together!

arrived incomplete
They are what they are but mine arrived loose in a box, their plastic package had broken, and only 11 of the rings were in the box. The one star speaks more to Amazon's packing than the product.
