Excellent LED Strips
The media could not be loaded. These are really good if your motherboard has RGB headers and good software. I'm using the Asus X470 Prime Pro and it works perfectly with it. It actually comes with a 3 to 1 lead so you only need to use one of your headers, and one of the leads is extra long...allowing great flexibility in placement. My case is steel and as they are magnetic, it really helps to place them. There is a peel off sticky backing for sticking to non magnetic surfaces.Totally recommend this product.Edit: Just an update, these have been in the system over 10 months now and I still think they are great, no problems, work well, easy install and I would buy another set in a heartbeat if I needed more. Was surprised to see a few 1 star reviews because they are a great product. I am a genuine buyer, not a shill because how many shills come back and update their review.P.S. Oh I went NVIDIA RTX 2070 in the end, tried to go AMD for the GFX card, but it never worked out...2 DOA cards

Great Piece Of Kit
Received mine today ( Christmas Eve 2018 )Installed in minutes, synced up with Asus Aura immediately but i did notice when i was Calibrating the RGB header the red wasn't working.Contacted Amazon Customer Service on Live chat via the Amazon App ( i find this easier to solve issues on Amazon )The agent is refunding the money so i can re-order a new one as i have no doubt the issue i have faced with some colours not working is just a bad set of strips.Other than this i love this item as it's given my case much needed illumination as the side panel is a smoked screen so was difficult to see inside, other than the Strix 1070ti Graphics Card and Motherboard LED IlluminationLooking forward to re-ordering the item and having 100% functionality and the full benefits of the colour options as i have mind set to Colour Cycle in Asus Aura UI!That's why i decided to give this a full 5* rating as i can't fault it despite the above!

Cheap, effective but a little lacking in build quality and colour representation.
On the plus side, the strips were easy to install, the magnets strong enough to grip the case well. However, the connectors are quite loose, i've had to use tape to hold them together properly. The colour representation is not great, outwith the three primary colours that is. I find the yellow is more of a green and the white is more of a very pale blue. I think this may be fairly common with RGB strips rather than the more expensive RGBW ones. However, in particular if you're sticking with primary colours (like I am) then they're absolutely fine for the price. you do get what you pay for though. Don't get me wrong, they're not terrible, just not great either......

Great Value, worked well. Single colour only, you can't do the 'WAVE' and 'METEOR' Effects.
These worked really well on my MSI Z390 Gaming edge AC. Motherboard.Only after fitting them, did I realise there are 2 distinct types of RGB Lighting.1. 5v ARGB - *ADDRESSABLE* 5Volt 3 pin header and *can* do the 'wave/meteor/cylon' type animated effects.2. 12v RGB - 12 volt and single colour over the entire strip (i.e. no animated type effects other than shifting same colour)I wish this was made a little clearer as I returned them in the end. I really wanted to dabble with the animated rainbow wave type effects. However, they were well built, good value and did what they said on the tin. So five stars if your motherboard only has the 4-pin non-addressable type RGB sockets.

You'll need an extension
The product works well. The magnetic adhesion is strong enough that even when moving my case about they haven't moved at all, but the leads just aren't long enough to do much with absent an extension. Can be easily controlled through the motherboard's RGB software. One strip is the main source of light for my entire interior and lights up the lot nicely.I installed on an NZXT H500 rig (I'd share photos but Amazon won't let me for some reason), and the first thing I wanted to do was place a strip along the nearside top of the case so it lit the whole interior but stayed out of sight. Obviously I wanted to run the cable around the back of the case so it was out of sight too, but it's so short that when it's plugged into the bottom of the motherboard, the strip itself is pulled toward the back of the case as well.I only have the basic 120mm fan installed on the top intake so it shouldn't be that much of a stretch, but it is, and the strip ended up twisting around it and instead of shining down, shone up through the grating. And of course because it had been pulled back so far, the strip itself wouldn't reach the right hand side of the case anymore, only stretching about 2/3rds of the way across.Even like this, it did a good job of lighting up the whole interior, but it was very annoying, so I bought a 20cm extension lead and now it sits flush along the front edge as it should, but that meant instead of £12, this cost me £16 in total. With the second strip, again due to the short lead, there's not much you can do with it and keep things out of sight, so I put it vertically down the inside of the support bar, and it gives a nice even glow.Basically, this is an easy kit to set up and the strips are fine, but without an extension lead or two, your installation options are limited.

Lights great. Mobo software, not always quite so great.
The lights are fine. Good brightness (not blinding, but sufficient). They stick well. My mobo has an issue where you can set the pulse/ colour/ style/ etc in the bios, but the desktop software freezes when you start it. That's not the led's fault, so no criticism there. I mention it because you may have the same issue and wonder what's going on.Anyway, once they're up and running, they're good. i've got them cycling through colours, and it's nice and calming. If you're putting them in a PC, I would recommend that your PC case has a window in the side. In almost all cases (save x-ray vision or those with photophobia) this will dramatically improve your enjoyment of the lights.
