Big bag, tastes like normal tea. Boil whole flower and strain.
Tastes good without lemon or sweetener.Great way to enhance hydration. You can boil 3-4 flowers til the water is dark and make a large pitcher to sip all day. I added water to the concentrated brew after it completed. I just learned about this plant about 2 weeks ago and I’ve so far had it once so far. I will be continuing to drink it since it tastes likenormal herbal tea and is known to have anti-inflammatory properties.

NOT edible, Contains Sulfates! Very Disappointed
I don't know if anyone is reading the back of the package but it states that this product contains sulfates and has to be boiled for 30 minutes and then can be consumed. Also it states this product is not for consumption as of edible which is completely backwards as this herb should be naturally consumable without a problem. This doesn't feel right and it's just a red flag. The amount is large but it does me no good if there is poison sprayed on the herb that limits the usability. This limits me to grind it and encapsulate it or make herbal oils because of the added sulfate content. Not happy with this product as I put quality over quantity. I will definitely go for certified organic, non GMO Herb in the future. Will NOT buy this brand again...

Old school (TCM) not so instant drink mix...
1 lb bag is a BIG bag. Tried the Prunella drink they have in the Asian grocer market and loved it so thought I try making my own.I used about 15-20 clusters per 1.5 liter of water and it seems about right for my taste. The seeds seems to be hydrophilic similar to basil seeds or chia seeds. Has that dried hay/gelatinous seed/jelly grass taste combination and can be enjoyed hot or cold. I was using Equal sweetener to cut down on sugar intake and it deepens its earthy taste when chilled. More astringent medicinal taste when consumed hot. I put a handful in a plastic container to take on the road, and alternate between this and matcha green tea. If the hotel has a good lemon lift tea, I also add that to the mix.

NO REGRETS ! YUMMY !!!
Yummy ! This makes a great tea and a little goes a long way. Love this cold or hot straight or, if I feel like I need a little sweet treat, I add honey. It's almost a sun tea taste with a more earthy twist, which I love! Just take a handful and boil. I also found that the seeds are really good too, like a chia seed. I nibble on those before I dispose of them.Wish I would have found this sooner.I'm hooked !

Great for skin issues!
It's a large bag. It works great! It's the only thing that's helped reduce and ease my hsv1 outbreaks. Also I had what seemed to be a eczema patch that I had for more than a year that wouldn't heal. But again after using it, it's finally clearing up and reduced the itching. A great product if you especially have skin issues. So thankful I was able to get it and try it.

Good For Me
I'm pleased as punch. The instant packets work great, but can add up quickly, so I am glad for this large bag, to make as much as I can, to my hearts delight. I'm also going to share with my mom, who has diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid issues

Very happy to find this herb at Amazon! I boiled it with a piece of pork (30g herb + 60g boneless pork) for 40 minutes, the soup tastes good!
