Gold Toe Women's Stripe Extended Size Knee High Sock 2-Pack

I've purchased SilverToe socks for many years but they are becoming more and more difficult to find, in stores and online. So I didn't hesitate to purchase these GoldToe socks when I found them here on Amazon. These are wonderful socks! Just the right amount of thickness, they hug my larger calves well without making me feel like they are pinching my skin or cutting off circulation. A major bonus! I purchased these along with another pair of GoldToe socks, just in a different color scheme, and the others have already found themselves tossed in the trash due to runs in the toe after only half a day of use. So I am hoping that these hold up! For the price, and if these prove to have longevity, I would recommend them. But the longevity still remains to be proven. I typically got close to a year's worth of wear out of SilverToe socks which makes me hopeful that these will give me similar usage. Time will tell! But so far, all is well for now..

Was excited to find knee high Gold Toes socks-love knee highs and usually have no problems with gold toe brand. They are a light-mid weight sock and came up to my knee ( I am taller with a wider calf) and wore well the first couple months. I wore them with riding and dress boots. Unfortunately they developed holes very quickly. I have a number of gold toe socks (shorter boot shocks) that I have had for a couple years that are still in excellent condition so I was disappointed in these.

I really like these socks, but find them a bit snug on my calf. I have large legs and my calves measure 17'. I ordered these thinking that the extended size would accommodate bigger calves. These barely fit. But they are very comfortable and wash up well.

Very nice feel to them. I have pretty large calves but they stayed up nicely, might be a tad snug but not bad. Why I gave them a 3 star was that I wore one pair once and I already have a hole in the big toe area. I keep my nails trimmed nicely so that wasn't the problem. They need to reinforce the toe area.

These socks fit me well - I wear a shoe size 11. But they color says "Navy stripes/Navy. The striped sock is as shown, but the solid sock is black NOT navy. I need more dark blue / navy socks not black ones. I will continue to wear these, but would really like to find some good fitting dark blue knee socks.

So happy! I'm 5'7" with a slender build and I wear a size 9.5 shoe. One-size socks don't work for me; they seem to get tinier and tinier each time they are washed, even though I use low heat in the dryer. So I tried these extended-size socks, and I'm sold! Even after washing, they feel "made to order." I was a bit concerned about the rayon content, but they seem sturdy and yet soft. I'll definitely be a repeat customer.

Be careful when you order these. When you receive the items, there is a disclaimer that size is not guaranteed by BeltOutlet. I needed a 7/5-8 and the extended size that arrived was an 8-13. Fabric is more slippery so you won't want a size that is too large as you will run the risk of blisters. too much extra fabric in the toe box.

Fit great on my big feet.
