Great UV Resin
This UV resin actually works very well. It gets hard & leaves no tacky spots . I used several UV resin including some from Hobby & craft retailers, but this is the first UV resin it cures perfectly. And it cures crystal clear. The box says made in China, but the box has Japanese written on it. This Japanese formula works great. I totally recommend this product.FYI: I don’t recommend to purchase UV resin especially the larger size from your local well-known craft stores. All UV resin I bough at the stores failed. We don’t know how long they sit there at the store. UV resin gets bad. The ingredients might be separated over time & it’s impossible to fix it over time. Buy from Amazon or manufacturers directly.

Great hardening resin
Great hardening resin. Found many to be terminally sticky, but after I finish curing with a UV flashlight and demold. Then, I put them in the window and in a day they are hard enough to polish. The smell is present, but low. Requires ventilated work space (fan /window). Have seen no discoloration. Is crystal clear. Takes mica powder in small amounts and thin layers nicely. Light has to get through the mica particles to harden, use a an itty bitty scoop to 2.5ml. I bought this size to start, and 500gm the second time.

Good brand
Is a resin need for my artwork, did not use yet but I am sure I'll work well, the instructions are pretty simple

Perfect for people who have never used it!
I'm a designer, and i've been wanting to try this out for a while now but I didn't want the hassle of mixing all the stuff each time. This ended up being EXACTLY what I was looking for!I actually initially bought it to apply a thin layer over various metal items to prevent my antiquing from wearing off or changing color over time. It works great for that, but I also was able to repair a few gemstone beads with it too! Pretty amazing actually. Like you can dip a headpin in this, put the bead on the headpin where you want it, and then put it under the UV light and after it has cured you can do your wire wrapping for delicate stones and they won't break off. Super legit.I used a higher powered UV lamp that you use for nails. I believe it is 34v or something. Typically takes 4 minutes to cure but if you are doing solid items, like the ring above, put it for about 6-8 minutes.I have never made anything out of resin and I did not get any air bubbles when I made this ring, and I seriously didn't know what I was doing, so it's safe to say anyone could use this and get good results lol.

Easy to use
Very easy to use, remove the aluminum seal and spongey stopper thing and you're ready to start using it, just point and squeeze. Took about 3 mins to fully cure a thin layer with a blacklight flashlight, also purchased on Amazon

Hard to justify the money
I was hoping to use this to cover up any air bubbles or a little patch work that I may get from my resin pours. Rather than mixing up a small batch of resin. It's kind of been a bit or miss, most the time a miss. After using the blacklight and giving it time to cure before sanding, 80% of the time it'll just pop off.

Worked well
I use regular resin -- mixing cups, etc -- but thought I'd try this for smaller things. I was surprised how well it worked! I used a UV light for nails that I had -- works fine. Instantly. For small pieces, this is great. I understand that compared to the "normal" mix-two-cups solution, this is supposed to yellow more quickly, but its been a few months and so far, so good.

Wet, rancid, bubbles
Does not cure over several tries even when leaving in sun for full day. I have used resins before and this one is aweful. Not sure if I got a bad bottle because it smelled unusually rancid and not like other resin I have used too. I have even bough this same one and brand before, but this time it had alot of bubbles and left wet spots. Just a hassle. Not recommended.

Handy to have!!
It's not immediate as in a contact-type adhesive. You can move it around until you solidified it with UV.
