Super handy Christmas light tool!
The media could not be loaded. This was hard to understand at first but once I got it figured out I realized how cool it is! This thing will light up an otherwise dead strand so that you can see which lights are burned out. It has a bulb tester, a fuse tester, a light remover that saves your fingertips and nails, and it repairs shunts (the connection that allows the current to flow) and detects breaks in the line and faulty bulb wires or broken glass.That last part is a bit harder to figure out but if you can learn to use the part I show in the video it is absolutely worth the money!

Doesn’t work.
The voltage sensor does not work. I am sending it back.

Some help, still confused
This device is somewhat helpful, but I’m still confused about the “Detector” feature, it Beeps erratically, and I don’t know the significance of different tones.Good luck

Saved time and money not having to purchase new lights.
Works just as described. Saved time on replacing bulbs and finding wire issues.

Well……
I used this device on every bulb and tagged them as I went to be accurate. I never found the issue with the light string on the outdoor patio tree. Now the tool is collecting dust til the battery goes.

Great product
The product helped us to replace all the bulbs on our 10 year old pre lit tree. The only downside is we have to order more bulbs separately. We did receive some bulbs with the tree gunboat not enough. The tree looks beautiful again. It was a little time consuming, but the gun pointed out all the dead bulbs.

It works!
I’ve unsuccessfully tried these types of tools in the past so I was skeptical, but I had a vintage decoration (a crystal tree with mini lights) that stopped working so I decided to give this one a try. It worked! I only had to pull the trigger once and the lights came back on, allowing me to identify and replace the bad lights. It was super easy and I’m very happy with this product.
