Perfect unlined jacket.
Runs large. I ware a XXL usually (50” chest) and I ordered a XL and it fit perfectly with t-shirt/single layer. It fits a bit snug with a sweatshirt but can work fine. I wanted an unlined jacket for warmer weather with just a t-shirt and this fits the bill. If you’re planning on regularly layering with this, I would suggest sticking to your normal size. This is made with the “good” fabric that will be durable for work. It looks good as well.

wrong size
The size runs large. I ordered my sport coat size according to the size chart & it was too big. The sleeves were not too long, just the body of the jacket.

YOU'LL LOOK LIKE A DAD (in a good way)
I’m a big guy at 5’10 260lbs it fits well as an XL maybe could’ve gotten a large if I’m honest. It looks great too. But you’ll look like a dad.

Does what it needs to
I was looking for a lighter jacket than the barn coat and this is it. It blocks the wind and is good enough for temps in the 50's. I somehow had the impression it was longer, but that's my fault. Still, it's tough as an old boot like everything Carhartt makes. If you need something more substantial for lower temperatures, you can also find a barn jacket here that has quilted insulation.

Jacket did not fit and have been trying to return to no avail. Will never deal with them again.
