Great value batten lights fitted in our loft. Purchased after reviewing recent feedback on these lights. Good bright light ideal for garage, shed or loft area. Easy to install although a little fiddly as connecting wires are quite short. Appear a little flimsy and quite lightweight when removing from packaging. However fits easily to mounting brackets and look fine. Can’t comment long term but pleased with purchase so far and would recommend.

I'm a professional electrician, so I'm trying to write this review while keeping in mind not everyone is...This fitting is very easy to install, there's no earth as it's double insulated, so, fix in position with 2 screws and connect 2 wires, job done.The one I got is the 2 foot (20W) model, I haven't actually checked the power usage of the fitting, however, I bought it to light a cupboard and it throws a lot of light around in there and has made finding stuff in the cupboard a lot easier... 😉It's very bright, easily suitable for cupboards, small rooms, sheds or lofts, would be really good as under cabinet lighting in a workshop/ garage. There's no perceptible flicker from the fitting, so the light is not tiring to the eyes.If you need a 2 foot fitting, you could spend a lot more money and end up with something a lot worse than this. I'm thinking about buying a couple more for my loft.

Great little light fitting that I use in a plant grow box. The perfect light levels and easy to install. There is a but though!, I can get one virtually identical through eBay for around £8!

This light is as light as a feather it is very thin in terms of the depth the width and length as I expected, I couldn't believe it could be this light but the actual light it gave off was excellent and could not be faulted. The installation was very easy once I had looked at it and the parts, a matter of common sense really. Apart from the poor illustrations I am unfamiliar with their term: "Shrapnel point it at the hole, then install the screws." I have no idea even now what they meant by 'shrapnel point..' Needs clearer phrasing perhaps 'screw the metal mounts to the wall/ceiling' which is what they meant as far as I know (by that time you have already drilled the 2 holes needed). No need to take the light apart as a good length of the wires protrude from the back of the light.The packing on the item for delivery purposes was very poor virtually nonexistent! Although marked fragile the postman/delivery person pushed it part way through the letter box although I doubt its weight would have caused damage had it landed on the carpeted floor

fittings were different sizes, considering only 2 of them and had no alternative but to use another method to fit.

Gives off a great light, really easy to install, looks great.

what a good bit of electrical equipment, very easy to install, very lightweight and the brightness is fantastic without having the heat given off by a bulb of similar strength, i put this my airing cupboard with limited head room, makes life a lot easier now

On the plus side, the light is bright.Cheap build, Cable so short a junction has to be made under the cover BUT there is not enough room for a connector. Had to solder a connecting cable. Removing the cover difficult with the current clip design.On reflection I would not purchase this item again, for what it was it was overpriced.

Arrivato puntuale come sempre , l'ho montato per esigenze mie sopra i fornelli della cucina. il modello da me preso è di 20 watt e fa una luce intensa e bianca ma non abbaglia . Perfetto: per ora sembra resistere al calore e ai vapori.

produit acheté il y a 2 ans qui vient de tomber en panne. c'est en l'ouvrant que j'ai découvert que ce n'était pas des LED mais un néon et qu'il était de 13W alors que sur l'annonce il est vendu comme faisant 20W.du coup ce produit ne vaut pas du tout le prix ou il est vendu..

Die Helligkeit der Lampe ist absolut klasse.Nachteil:Lampe hat kein Anschlussfeld, sondern nur eine ca. 30 cm lange Anschlussleitung, die aus der Lampe herauskommt. Ebenfalls ist es nicht möglich, die eigene Deckenleitung direkt in der Lampe anzuschließen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich eine kleine Verteilerdose gesetzt. (Siehe Foto).Im Keller/Versorgungsraum kein Problem. Für Wohnzimmer oder Küche nicht zu empfehlen.Die Lampe selber macht von der Verarbeitung her, einen nicht so guten Eindruck. Man muss sie vorsichtig montieren, sonst hat man schon Beulen im Blech, was sehr dünn ist.
