This cup-holder and cellphone mount work great, even in a vehicle that wasn't extremely friendly to such an add-on.The expanding attachment works well for mounting the unit in your vehicle's existing cupholder and holds the unit securely. We have only mounted a cellphone up top (not a tablet) and it does well with the weight of the cell phone — unsure how stable it would be with a tablet but works well for even large cell phones (Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra — no problem).Of course, you are using a vehicle cupholder for this mount, but are getting another cupholder in it's place and the added cupholder can take very large cups and even has slots for mug handles — very practical.Overall, a well-thought out automotive accessory. Great addition to bring a cellphone up to eye level in a vehicle without an existing navigation screen.

I picked this up as my mother in law who was accompanying my wife on a trip and wanted an easy way to mount her tablet and keep her hands free for helping with our daughter and being able to watch her shows. This is very easy to use and install, you basically put it in the cup holder and twist it around and the base expands to fill the cup holder. The tablet/phone mount is pretty easy to adjust and get how we wanted it. This does allow for a much larger cup like Yeti/Rtic tumbler or a 64oz fountain soda from a gas station. My biggest complaint is there is no way to adjust the cup holder for smaller cups and bottles. Fitting your tablet/phone in the holder is very easy and will depend on your orientation on how to use it to secure the phone or tablet. Its pretty easy to expand and close and I didn't have any complaints from either of them regarding this being used.

Seems solid but the cup holder is too bulky above the insert so it didn't fit my space.

Phone holder has two articulating arms to accommodate most placement/configurations in cup holders. The base has expansion wedges with a twist-to-expand mechanism, and includes three extra spacer feet to accommodate overly large cup holders and eliminate loose/air-gapped installation. For my use, this will actually take my too-small cup holder and allow me to hold a larger diameter cup than the OEM cup holder. My Galaxy Fold 6 fits comfortably and snugly under the spring loaded expansion arms, and there is an additional 4 inches to go wider for larger devices. I will definitely buy again; in fact, now that I've seen this, I am going to buy two more for my other cars; this will be my go-to phone buildout from now on.

I was looking for something to secure my phone for work related travel and I hated the window suction or dash attachments (they left sticky residue on my car). This seemed like a decent option although I approached it with skepticism. I discovered that I liked it much more than I thought I would and would recommend it to anyone seeking a phone/tablet mount for their car without the sticky residue from the suction cups on the windshield or dash.Pros:+This easily fit in my standard-sized cup holder WITH easy adjustment to secure it. It stayed in place with minimal shaking and was easy to remove when I didn't need it.+The articulating arm is easy to adjust and set for your personal preferences. I didn't notice any significant shaking or vibration while we were moving, which I really appreciated.+It held my phone (Samsung S22) securely. It was easy to attach and stayed in place.+The cup section would still hold a small to medium sized cup or can of soda.Cons:-For me, this entire contraption is bulky. Yes, it fits well in a cup holder and is adjustable, but I think I'd rather have my cup holder rendered unusable than have the giant top section adding additional bulk and height.

I have a car with a dash that does not have many places for phone holders. There is no place for my phone if I am using the map app or hands free phone calls. This holder is perfect for my car and fits in one of the cup holders but has a built-in cup holder that works great. The expandable base solidly holds the device without any movement even when a phone is in the holder. My only slight complaint is the spring tension holder requires two hands to put in and take out my phone.

I love the idea of this phone holder/cup holder. It seemed like the perfect solution for my issue of a small cupholder and lack of place to mount my phone in my car. When I first installed it, it seemed like it was going to work well. It tightened into my existing cupholder snugly once I tightened it, and the arm had tons of flexibility in terms of adjustments. While the piece that sits in the existing cupholder was snug, the part that connects to that and holds your drink would spin a little, but I thought maybe that was just what it was designed to do. After about a week of using it, the top piece (the new cupholder) broke off of the base. It looked like it should be able to screw back in, but after many attempts I gave up. I wish the construction of this item had been more solid -- I loved the idea and was really hoping this would solve the issues I have. Now I am back to the search for another solution.

I wasnt expecting much from this phone/tablet holder, however I have been pleasantly surprised. This holds your phone at almost any angle you would like, having 2 points of adjustment, and the ability to lengthen and shorten the arm, it is very versatile.I also use this in the golf cart to hold my phone, no more throwing the phone under the dash of the golf cart or leaving it beside me on the seat. I have not yet found a cup holder that this attachment does not fit in, and you are able to tighten this very snuggly, no issue.The phone will vibrate as you are moving, this is normal.For the price, the convenience and versatility, this is a great buy!

Package arrived undamaged and contained all the advertised components on the product page.I was a bit skeptical before receiving this item but it actually works really well. The plastic isn't high-end quality and if you apply too much pressure to the tighteners or the arm it could break but if you are easy with the setup it works quite well.The expanding mechanism to stabilize it into your cup holder is pretty easy, you just need to make sure the rubber bumpers are up against the side wall of the cup holder and just keep turning until it is snug. The arm and screw for the phone holder is what seems a little brittle but once in position it does wobble a bit when you hit a bump but everything stays in place and you can turn it to face either the driver or the passenger.I always wonder why cars don't come with two phone holders as standard. Almost everyone has a phone these days so this unit not only gives you a holder for your phone but it also doesn't take up your drink holder, it actually makes it bigger so you can put your big gulp in it if you want. What I like best is that it takes your phone away from your dash so it's not covering up your ac vent. I had one of those phone magnets you connect to your ac vent grille and on hot days I really noticed the ac hitting the back of my phone and not keeping me cool. With this that's not a problem anymore.

I found this unit to be overly big and cumbersome. It did fit into the cup holder on my sportscar but no matter how tight I tightened the securing dial it eventually came loose and fell out (repeatedly)... resulting in my drink spilling more than once. It may well work in some vehicles but in sports cars (I tried 2 different cars) it wouldn't work for me.

I like this cup holder for its flexibility. You can maneuver it around to your liking. I’ve used it for both an iPad and iPhone and it works great. It fits snugly and firmly in my existing cup holder which allows me to use a cup or can in its place.

Massive phone holder with this one, but exactly as described.The bottom part sits in most cupholders and then the ring rotates to move the feet out to hold it into place. Arm has multiple points of bending and securing, plus the top part rotates as well.Tried in various cars and SOME this will not fit depending on the design of the radio units and consoles. In a brand new EV nope, in an older mazda with lower slots yes, in a Rogue barely. So it really depends on the year and console center design for a good or bad fit.But, it does do what it says on the tin, and is pretty solid for plastic. On those fronts if this fits your needs it's not bad at all!
