This kit included everything I needed to get going. I was very delighted with everything and how easy it was to set up and get onto my WiFi.

I used the default image on the SD card but had issues. It updated OK, but it wouldn't properly display local time correctly; it was stuck on UTC. After a reboot it failed with a kernel panic.Reimaged the card and reinstalled/updated it and it's working fine.The assembly instructions don't mention removal of plastic film from silicone HS pads. (maybe I overlooked that step?)It was difficult to install a USB plug in one of the ports, but after a few tries is OK.All in all it's working very well.

I’ve never owned a Rasberry Pi before and this truly takes the cake when it comes to its size and quality/strength. I started learning how to program with it and create some simple programs and man, I wished I did this sooner cuz it’s so fun to make them in such a small but powerful device. I even can watch Netflix and play Minecraft on it, this was definitely worth the money and I can’t wait to keep upgrading it. I just gotta learn more about what the Raspberry has to offer to be able to use it at its full potential.

The product came well packaged in a big box with items inside little boxes, the packaging is very organized, and came with everything shown in the pictures of display. Everything worked and overall their customer service, delivery, and packaging was good.

I've been using Raspberry Pis since the first one debuted. The issue has always been putting together the right set of cables, power supplies, heat sink, mounts, cases, video cables, and SD cards from the myriad of options to assemble into a working computer for a new user without something that doesn't fit properly.This starter kit contains everything you need to get up and running in 15 minutes, no muss, no fuss, without any prior knowledge. It's about the easiest entry into DIY computing I can imagine, and that simplicity belies the power and flexibility of the computer the Pi 5 is. FYI - to use your new computer, you will still need a keyboard, screen, or tv with an HDMI input and a mouse - but that is it.The only real issue i ran into was with the case. It's pretty basic and lacks a locking mechanism to keep the top from sliding off, which mine did until I "fixed" it with a half-inch-long piece of clear tape. It's a minor oversight with an otherwise excellent starter kit. On, and when you are putting in the screws to attach the board to the case. I suggest using a good magnetic screwdriver vs the cheap one that comes in the kit to get the screws down into the spaces where the screw holes are. You can do it with the included driver, but you'll save time and effort and chasing dropped screws by using the right tool.Overall, a nice getting-started kit that includes the Pi 5, not just accessories. Highly recommended!

This has everything you would need to get up and running with a Pi as well as a housing, which is fantastic.I will be using this for work, but it's a great gift for any programmer/tinkerer!

Easy assembly, operates in minutes with installed OS, quick setup for your project with a few scripts

The assembly instructions were very good for a beginner like me. I was able to get it set up fast and start playing around with small projects.

As far as the Raspberry Pi goes, this is my first exposure to the line, and it was a pretty decent experience overall. The iRasptek Raspberry Pi 5 starter kit gives you everything you need, from the Pi itself, to active cooling, to a power supply, plus a pre-loaded OS on a 64gb memory card.In terms of assembly, this literally took about ten minutes. Setting up the OS barely took even that. The instructions included by iRasptek are fairly concise, missing just a few points (like using the included screws to mount the main board to the case, oddly enough, but that is pretty obvious really).The one downside I found is that, using the included microHDMI to HDMI cable, I got the odd moment of video cutting out. I'm hoping that is indeed the cable, and not the port itself. Additionally, if you're used to a micro or mini PC, anything like a NUC, the Pi is a fair bit more light weight. I'm looking to use this as a little media center, and it does play HD video over a network share, but the 4GB version barely cuts it, and you'd probably be better off going with 8GB RAM. Chromium and Firefox browsers are preinstalled and Firefox works fine and streams video off YouTube at 1080 without stutter, but the browser itself is slow to respond at times, again more an issue of the Pi as a whole than anything else.Overall, this is a neat little product and for a first go with Raspberry, I'm pretty happy.
