The design is good and the weights of parts is good. But the hardware that came with it doesn’t fit—- the screws are too skinny to bite into the anchors.So now I need to go source screws.No excuse.

We are happy with this gun rack. The pieces are sturdy and well-made. It was easy to install, it just took a bit of time to make sure the two racks were straight, at least one screw was in a stud, and they were a good distance apart, and then everything else was straightforward. It holds well, is very secure, and the guns are easy to take in and out of the rack. I recommend this product.

The instructions require "Hex head screws" for the top row on each mounting plate; however, they are not included. Just regular weaker screws are provided.

I already have a similar gun rack but a portable variant, and I really like how well rifles are held by it, so when I saw a stationary wall-mounted version, I decided to give it a try. This is perfect for a gunroom, walk-in safe, or a closet. It's heavy duty and holds rifles very securely. Straightforward design and construction yet very functional and durable. It is rated to hold up to 200 pounds and 4 long guns can be stored at the same time. It looks great in my gunroom and is easy to assemble and install. I'm planning to buy another one to extend it to 8 rifles. The build quality of this gun rack is pretty solid. The rack is extremely durable and made from 100% solid steel. All holders for placing guns on this rack are rubberized to protect your firearm collection from accidental scratching. The frame is powder coated to make it corrosion resistant. The welds could have been done better and in a more aesthetically pleasing way, but they are good enough to hold this rack together securely. You can adjust the height of the rack by spacing the top and bottom pieces of the rack as you like on a wall, just measure the shortest rifle you have and use it as a minimum required spacing. If you have different types of rifles you want to mount, it's a good idea to lay them out on the ground before the assembly to find the best spacing between mounting points, so that everything will fit properly. The best thing about this rack is that you can adjust spacing between guns as you like by sliding the holders left or right on its wall mounted guide. Note that you have to mount this directly to studs, not drywall. Consider the weight of your rack and use fasteners that are appropriate for that weight. For AR barrels that have full-length extended handguards, you will need to make sure the handguard/shroud fits in the top rack. If you have a mix of rifles with short and very long barrels, then take extra care to find the proper spacing so that everything fits properly on this rack. As it's made of steel, you can attach rifles with a cable lock to the mount, which is great for security, but it's gonna be just as secure as your wall mount. Overall, a highly recommended product, must have for gun enthusiasts!
