Hearing protection 34db & comfort of fit.
I love these while working in my shop or when driving a 30.5 HP Kabota zero turn with a 72 inch deck. Great hearing protection most ear muffs only come 21 or 29db these are 34db and you sure can tell the difference once you put these on.

Works OK with some special added helps
Used to drown out unwanted somewhat loud background music that I must tolerate at bodybuilding gym, but only effective if I also add some cotton wads in my ears while wearing it! Spring in headpiece clamps too tight even after stretching it for 3 days by stretching it on container box as directions suggested. Had to use a much larger padded object to further stretch it on for a 3 more days -- risking breaking the tight spring unit -- then it fit comfortably enough without clamping too tight, and my head is not large. Now it reduces sound enough, but only if I use cotton wads in my ears along with it. Otherwise it's not effective. Kept it due to decent low price rather than returning it and risking another faulty product experience.

They block noise, but they're really tight
Have you ever watched one of those videos of a watermelon exploding from the constricting pressure that results from rubber-bands being wrapped around and around them? Yeah, that's how it felt when I first put these earmuffs on. It felt like my head was going to explode because they were so tight and constricting. To alleviate this problem (but not totally fix it), I put these earmuffs on a smaller basketball overnight for a few nights to stretch them out. Once I put them back on, the immense pressure was mostly gone (they're still snug and will cause me to get a headache if I wear them for a couple of hours at a time).I got these so I could wear them while mowing the lawn. I'm happy to say they block out A LOT of the loud, harmful noise that lawn mowers make. So in that facet, they do their job just fine. Like I said earlier, I can only wear these for a couple of hours at a time before having to remove them due to a killer headache. If I had to wear these for the entirety of a work shift? I couldn't and wouldn't, I'd have to find another pair that is more comfortable.Overall I give them 4/5 stars. I wish they were more comfortable, but they do block out a lot of noise.

They Work Surprisingly Well
Although unwieldy and difficult to handle with my arthritis, once over my ears, they block out a ton of noise. My husband watches tv on full blast and I’m going deaf because of it. Now I can stand to sit in the same room with him and not constantly be yelling at him to please turn down the volume. I’m going to have to get another pair for work now.

Disappointing
They looked very nice. They were soft around the ears. The shape of them was for a very small head and the plastic snapped when trying to fit on my husband's head which made them useless. They evidently are not very adjustable for head size.

Ear protection
Very light weight, comfortable, easy to put on and take off yet good quality ear/hearing protection.

Don't believe the video.
The ear muffs were not comfortable, so I tried to adjust them, believing they were stainless steel like the video described, but as soon as I tried to adjust them they snapped in half revealing that the band was just molded plastic >:(
