The steel base plate is strong and easy to mount with the included hardware or your own 5mm bolts. Ball joints are textured metal and hold well. Very happy with this in a working industrial space.

The description for this mount is very accurate-- which is very important and always great to see.We needed a solid ball mount to use in our Tender (small boat) for securely holding our 11" Ulefone Tough Tablet that we use for Navigation Charts. The Ulefone Tough Tablet is quite heavy for a tablet (over 3lbs) and I'm happy to say that this Woleyi Ball Mount keeps it very secure and stabile in even very rough/choppy seas. In fact, this mount keeps it more secure that the last two mounts that I've owned.There is one dimension that's missing from nearly every tablet or phone holder and that is the depth of the fingers/grips that grip the device. The depth of the grips on this mount is 5/8" (17mm) which is deeper than all but one of my other mounts, but I do wish that tablet mounts were deeper still to better fit these tough tablets that have thick cases. As you can see by the photos this mount works great when I stretch the hand strap over the back side of the mount.This is a solid/tough mount that will keep your tablet secure in very rough conditions. I have a few old tablets that aren’t worth anything, but that I’ve been using in the shop as clocks and calculators. I hang them on the wall but need a bracket that is sturdy so they don’t move around when using them as a calculator.I chose this mount because it has an all metal mounting bracket. It’s a Ram style mount with metal 1” balls. The balls aren’t quite round, though. More ovals.I screwed this mount to a stud, then adjusted the arm and installed an old 8” tablet. It fits well and the arms which hold it grasp firmly. It feels really stable and well secured.

We didn't use this as described - we actually mounted this to our ceiling to film our band practices on our phone.It's sturdy and fits my phone just fine. There is a lot of vibration in our band room and this keeps the phone secure.It's made of high quality materials, and I can see it lasting forever. The price is higher than usual because it's made better than the usual mounts.Would be great for any place where there is a lot of vibration or movement.

The whole thing is sturdy and solid. The ball joints look like unfinished metal and that makes it really grippy. The adjustable dog bone pieces have a texture on them as well that help with grip. Once locked in to place, this doesn't move. The base is sturdy, everything is metal. They over thought things with multiple mounting holes. The mount for the tablet has very strong springs and seem to work well so far. Very happy with it.
