The vet recommended this product and I've been using it with my dogs for years. My late shetland sheepdog used these daily and never needed a single teeth cleaning. My current chihuahua started using these after I adopted her and I noticed a huge improvement in her teeth within a few days. Her teeth became whiter and her bad breath totally went away. These are meant for more medium sized dogs but my chihuahua is a very aggressive chewer. I cut these in half for her with garden shears and she'll finish a piece in about 20 minutes depending on the thickness of the piece. As others have mentioned, it's frustrating that the thickness of the pieces varies a lot and some batches are a lot darker brown than others. I wish there was more consistency in their product but I continue buying it because of how effective it is for dental health.

My one dog has had bad dental health from a young age and my other dog is aging and has a lot of plaque. After spending a few thousand in dental work I bought these per recommendation of my vet. My dogs now get so excited for their daily “toothbrush.” Their teeth have never looked better after using these for just a few months. These chews definitely work for plaque and my dogs love them!

I wish I had taken some Before and After pictures - and I may update the review with some later.My vet recommended these and I had used them before with some dogs I took care of for years when dogsitting.My 4 year old Shih Tzu is picky about food/treats, and I'm happy to report that she loves these chews. I'm even happier to report that they are VERY effective at removing tartar buildup.I don't let her have chews unsupervised, so I can only say that we as pet parents know our babies best and if you have an eager chewer/eater, keep an eye on them. Luckily Sushi really enjoys taking her time chewing these hides.

My lab loves these. These are single layer rawhide and easy to digest. They are the only rawhide I let him eat and the only dental brand I truly trust. Please do NOT give to your dogs unattended! They do still carry a choking risk.

I did have an issue with shipping one time and the seller provided a credit for that. I will continue to buy these chews as my dog loves it and keeps him busy when guests arrive.

Disappointed that this product is so varied in thickness. Some are nice and thin and some are very thick. I sized down hoping that the ones for small dogs would be thinner and smaller but he are just the same product cut in half. My fur baby is getting old and the thick pieces are hard on her teeth. If a have to give away 1/3 of the bag it makes the product very expensive. She does love them so I’m not sure what I’ll do now.

These are good dental chews for your pups.My older one goes through it fairly quickcompared to the younger who is still getting her permanent teeth in.They soften up as the dog chews so as with any chew of this kindonly give it when you can watch them to be sure they don't over do it and possibly choke.Not an every day treat, but an occasional one.

Recommended by vet, my jack russell loves them. I gave her one a day to help keep her teeth clean. She was having problems before with food and buildup at her back teeth, discoloured teeth, requiring costly dental cleanings. She still gets her teeth cleaned once a year, but the teeth look so much better since she started using these chews 3 years ago.

Unfortunately their concept of medium sized dog and mine are a bit off. The chews were quite small…maybe 4” (10cm). Dog still loved them, just finished a bit too quick.
