My daughter had 2 wisdom teeth removed and this worked perfect for her. Allowed her to be hands free while applying a cold compress to both sides of her face. The gel packets stay cold about 20 minutes and having 4 packets is great for switching them out so you'll always have 2 cold packets to use. The packets freeze solid but not rock solid so it's a little flexible if you want to mold it a little to your face. Both the outer/inner fabric are very soft and comfortable. Overall we're very happy with this product.

I bought this for my son who just had his wisdom teeth removed. I appreciate that it comes with 4 gel packs. That way I could have 2 in the freezer while he was using 2. I also like that the gel packs can be microwaved for heat therapy, as well. Great item to have on hand. Would also be good for ear aches.

It’s true, the coldness doesn’t last long, but technically you’re not *supposed* to ice for more than 20 mins at a time. Plus, you can rotate the packs out with the other two. The cold & pressure helped soooooo much with the pain after wisdom tooth removal. I would strap this on and it was instant relief. Couldn’t imagine the healing process without it.

As a dental hygienist I can’t stress enough, that it is imperative to keep ice 20 minutes on - 20 minutes off - for the first 24 hours after surgery. This set up made it very easy. I actually bought two sets. Stayed up all night. Swapping them out every 20 minutes. (After 20 min off) She didn’t have one bit of swelling. Take all meds as instructed too!

Great design for this. I recently had dental surgery and my face swelled badly. It looks like I have the mumps on one side. I needed an ice pack I didn't have to hold onto and this one fit my needs. It holds two of four packs which can be frozen or gently heated in the microwave. I used them cold and it's reducing the swelling as well as cutting the pain.I also tried them heated in the microwave for 30 seconds and they were way to hot. I had to wait until the packs cooled off a bit after 2 minutes. Next time I'll only heat them for 20 seconds.The only drawback is that the strap smelled terribly of rubber but it faded overnight. Also, it needs ear holes or it muffles sound. Made it hard to wear at work. I might cut a hole in the sides if I can.I give this device 4.5 stars for functionality.

Love the concept and really is perfect after wisdom tooth removal for keep “ice” in place on your face comfortably. My only complaint is the gel packs do not stay cold long…even coming out of the freezer.

I rush ordered this the day I had my wisdom teeth removed, at 6:30 PM. It arrived the following day at 4:00 PM (paid for the fastest delivery possible). I had been icing my face in the meantime with other ice packs, but was already getting so sick of holding the ice packs as I was doing 30 minutes on/30 minutes off. This changed the whole game! I have a big head and it fit me just right. You can adjust how tight/loose you need it to be, and the two sets of gel packs make it a breeze to freeze! I have dealt with major TMJ issues that never went away before I had my wisdom teeth out, so pending those issues persist after I’ve recovered from my wisdom tooth surgery, I’ll be sure to try this method with that as well. Great quality product!

Bought this for my wisdom tooth surgery and it was amazing. It comes with 4 pads so it’s easy to freeze one while you use the other. 100% recommend. It helped my swelling go away faster than I was told. Definitely get it if your getting your tooth removed
