You'll get your money's worth out of this.There are several things that I use to judge the quality of the clippers I use.Build Quality: 10/10- The weight of the clippers and trimmer both are on the heavier side. Not too heavy to the point that your arms get tired but enough weight on it to where you know that the build is solid. The DLC fade blade is also a great addition compared to the traditional steel/metal blades that come in the "normal" wahl clippers. I personally will be using the Stylecraft FAPER blades with these just because they're my go-to clipper blades. There wasn't anything wrong with the DLC fade blade it came with. It kept cool through two cuts then I noticed they were getting WARM but not HOT.Sound: 8/10- Not the quietest clipper I've used but its not bad. You can still socialize and hear the clippers cut the hair no problem but there are quieter options available out there. At the same time, these things pack a lot of power.Performance: 10/10- These things work amazing. Both the clipper and the trimmer both. The clipper itself just FEELS powerful. Idk how many RPM it operates at but if I had to guess, I'd say anywhere around the 6800-7500 RPM range. I only say this because of the way it cuts and sounds. At most, I had to go through hair twice to make sure everything cut.- The trimmers cut just as good and maybe even better than my andis T-liner wired.- The battery life on these were good as well. I'd say you can make it through 6-10 haircuts before the battery gets low. Also depends on how long each cut takes but assuming it'll take 20-35 minutes a cut it should put you right around that range.- The detachable blade also allows for easy maintenance which is a major plus.Accessories: 8/10- Nothing out of the ordinary from the box. I do like how it did come with two charging stands for the clipper and the trimmer as well as the zero gap tools and the high quality clipper guards.Overall Rating: 10/10These clippers are amazing! I love it. From the feel to the performance. You cant go wrong with these. If I had to guess, I believe that SUPRENT tried replicating the Babyliss LowPro series with this kit but I'm glad they did because I couldn't justify dropping close to $200 for a single clipper being an amateur barber of 5 years. I figured I'd give these a shot and I'm glad I did so now I have an amazing CLIPPER and TRIMMER for $150. During the time of purchase, these were $200 with a $50 coupon. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if you can cough up the money for this set.EDIT: 12/11/2023So the Stylecraft Faper blades do not work on this. They just don't fit if you're trying to zero gap them. Regardless, the blades it comes with are amazing. I did over 20 cuts with these since I've had them (switching off between my other clippers), and I have to say, these are well worth the price. Even my customers were impressed with the build quality and the feel of the clippers/trimmer.

CLEAN CUT AND HE DOES IT HIMSELF AND GREAT TRIM EASY OPERATION AND CARE

I highly anticipated receiving the Obsidian clipper + trimmer set and was anxious to try it out as soon as it arrived. As a professional barber, I could tell that the blades on both the clipper and trimmer needed to be zero-gapped for a more precise cut, so after using the screw attachment that came with it to adjust the blades, I tried them on myself and was instantly satisfied with the results! I couldn’t be happier with how clean and even the clippers cut, and with the precision of the trimmers without feeling any pain!! The display which indicates the remaining battery percentage on both of them is extremely helpful and adds to the quality of this set as a whole. This gets an easy 5 stars in my book, especially for the price!

Great clippers, got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he was super happy with the outcome and how well they did.

Very good and professional hair clippers, I love it

They are well built. I am not a barber but these out class my old Wahl clippers by far. Quality guards as well. 3 hour charge and run time for both. They feel professional and well worth the price.Only con is, Suprent advertises blades on Amazon that you cant find. Suprent, please send these to me. I may be a Suprant fanboy now.

I really like these unfortunately within 2 1/2 weeks a tooth broke on the Trimmers so that sucks so I’ll be Having to buy a new pair of something anyway

I bought this product thinking it was the best, but I'm actually sorry I bought it because the charge only lasts an hour for the large machine and a little longer for the small one.
