Jules [Blu-Ray]

It's a grownup movie for ET fanatics! I remember watching ET with my Daddy while growing up. He would have liked this movie and how accepting and protective the group is to Jules. I liked it. The Bonus Feature: "Becoming Jules" should be shown after the feature as well, but I guess that's what sells DVD's, huh? Two thumbs up.

Different story line than I’d run across before. Reminiscent of Cocoon and Batteries not included, but with more of a social concerns theme.

Already watched this movie 4 times. Such a great movie!

The acting was exceptional and depicted what seniors like us go through on a daily basis, no respect and the kids trying to control our lives by telling us how we should live. The main character reports to the city council and mayor, "There's a spaceship in my backyard and it's crash landed and ruined my azaleas," yet they don't even send out a police car to do a welfare check.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this movie, truly one of my recent favorites. This review is not about the movie, but of the counterfeit movie that I received. In the images, you can see the various issues with this movie. First, the print on the artwork is of poor quality. There is noticeable pixelation and the text is blurry. The print on the disc has runoff along the edges and it is of poor quality. The print is also very thick and not typical of authentic discs. Flipping the disc over, you can see that it is a black, recordable disc. The case is missing the blu-ray logo as well. The quality of the video is lower than what I normally see on a blu-ray. It looks like streaming quality. Really a shame, since this is such a great movie.
