This was given as a gift and was so well received with pictures sent to me after it was completed. They loved the sturdiness of each piece and found the challenge of no straight edges to be fun. The colors were spectacular. GREAT puzzle and great gift!

This puzzle came out beautiful!! It took the family as a whole to put it together but was well worth the effort. The picture doesn’t do it justice. The colors are much more vibrant

Excellent puzzle, high quality too. Some of the pieces are little penguins which are really cool. The shape is fun and the colors are great!

PRO.First, this is probably the BEST puzzle I’ve ever done.I got the X-Large, and the number of pieces (660-ish) combined with the fact there are a few areas with similar coloring and no straight edges made it quite the challenge, which made finishing it quite rewarding (I bought it to do with my Grandpa, and on day 1 he wanted me to just put it away/quit, since quite daunting with the minimal progress we made in a couple hours, since not the typical edge pieces he is accustom to). Definitely a puzzle I wouldn’t want to do in one sitting, since you need to walk away from it and come back with fresh eyes. I love that every piece is uniquely shaped, so sometimes it is the piece SHAPE you are looking for, more than the coloring on it.Laying out the pieces pretty much took up the Entire card-table, so I don’t recommend working on a surface any smaller than that (once we got the edge put together, the inside was still full of loose pieces due to limited space). The finished product was larger than expected, which was nice (most wood puzzles I’ve done in the past only had half as many pieces). Additionally, with these wood puzzleS I often keep a slightly thicker than usual piece of paper around, so that if we build a section and then need to connect it elsewhere we can slide it onto the paper, transport it, and then carefully slide it off in the exact location it belongs—trying to drag it doesn’t work, due to the thickness of the pieces and fact some pieces don’t tightly connect (I.e. the penguin shaped pieces with smooth sides).CON. While the ad stated “Woodemon Wooden Puzzle”, the one that came was clearly branded as KAAYEE, which I see a separate identical ad for on Amazon. Additionally, the one I received I’m guessing was a return, since I believe it was missing the original packaging. While it had the wood box, it was just wrapped closed with kitchen cling wrap w/ scotch tape, unlike ever other wood puzzle I’ve bought that have a corrugated outer box to protect the specialty wood box (if this was a gift for anyone other than my grandfather I would have been embarrassed by the packaging). Luckily, ALL pieces were still there, although I had doubts while we were working. Only other critique (which might only be true for KAAYEE vs Woodemon, is that the image on the wood box seemed slightly darker than the actual puzzle…although my grandfather prides himself on never looking at the image, anyways (no shame here, I definitely do, i take the help).

This puzzle was lots of fun.
