Not plug and play
Its design is nice and simple plus its pretty easy to have tucked away in a back pack. It seems to be made well. Putting everything together by plugging in the chords resulted in nothing. Checked my at home computer and a work laptop and wasn't able to get a connection. I have a similar product and had to download a driver to get that to work, so I'm assuming this is the same process. Instructions never specified the need for it so I cant properly get this to work. I cant discount that this might work though, but It requires extra work.

Couldn't get it to work on 2 different Win10 laptops
I tried this on 2 different Dell Win10 laptops. Neither machine would even recognize the device even after rebooting a few times with and without the device plugged into the USB port. Tried multiple ports, still nothing. I even went to so far as to plug this into a USB A to USB C dongle to see if I could get a MacBook to recognize the device. Nothing.
