Love the book!!!!

This book is a fountain of knowledge, real first hand knowledge from someone who has lived and practiced Ayurveda for more then twenty years. Their are many coffee table books on Ayurveda today . Ayurveda It is becoming fashionable . Many books written by people who have never really understood Ayurveda in its true depth . This is not one of them . This is the real thing ! Real gold . I can not recommend this book to highly . Read it slowly and carefully and you will begin to understand what an incredible living and healing system Ayurveda is. If I could of given it ten stars I would of done so .

I would not recommend this book of over 400 pages: the content is good, but the method of using the book is terrible. It's impossible to use this book as a book of reference (and that's what it's meant to be) ! The index is completely faulty. It either refers to the wrong pages, or to pages that are not there (referring to page 440 whilst the book has 418 pages). And pages 199 to 204 are completely missing! (i only just found out). So in short: this book does not make me happy.

Specific protocol formulations for various conditions per dosha prakriti, which is good. But index is completely out of wack, does not match page #'s at all. Also, cannot find certain things listed in index.
