The design encourages them to stay hydrated, and since my cats were trained young to drink water, they took to it instantly.I was also impressed by what’s included in the box. Not only do you get extra filters and accessories, but they also include a sponge and a tiny cleaning kit—something I didn’t even know I needed, but now really appreciate. And the 2-year warranty? That sealed the deal for me. I normally ignore those things, but this felt different—they clearly care about quality and customer experience.At $55, this is totally worth it. If your cats are already good water drinkers, this is a perfect upgrade. If they’re not used to fountains or hesitant to drink in general, it might take some training. I lovee this water fountain. Both my cat and dog do too! The charge lasts a while as well.This fountain is so easy to clean. just take everything apart once a week and change the filters once a month. Its extremely easy to put together. Every piece has its own shape and you'll know where to put what. I dont find myself charging it ever week which is a bonus and doesn’t take long to be fully charged. I bought this due to cats not drinking enough water and i don’t want him to be dehydrated. He loves drinking out of this fountain. My dog loves the fresh water pet hair free and little crumbs of food free. if any pet hair gets in the main bowl or dust it goes straight down and the filter catches it. It has three modes which is 24 hour running, motion sensor and i believe every 15 minutes it runs. It doesnt over fill and the pump turns red once you need to add more water. The container is stainless steel which is a plus for germs and the only plastic part is the actual pump but i dont have any issues with it. This fountain is great! I do only wish that the “bowl” was a little deeper other than that i love it

I have had several different fountains and my cats like this one more. They regularly drink a good amount of water, but they drink even more with this. It is easy to keep clean, and the filters work quite well. I like how easy the filters are to replace. I keep it on a constant stream because my cats prefer that. The only noise is the sound of water which is quite nice. This is the best fountain I've used and I am quite happy with it.

Awesome water bowl. It works perfectly as described. My cats are very fond of it. Holds the charge a long time!

We have not had this fountain but a week so I cannot give it a full 5 starts but I can tell you that coming from a previous stainless steel fountain that this one is significantly better. Other fountain had a SS spout and the water recirculated thru the tub and back out the spout and dropped into a SS lid and ultimately into the tub and pumped back up. Motor was so weak that the filter would plug up with basically nothing and then trickle out just after 3 days after cleaning. Pump was slimy and everything inside the same. This one I am writing about now that I have experience is significantly better. Water runs but does not drop and so it does not evaporate nearly as fast. After 3-4 days I take the pump out, check for slime and lightly clean. Then clean the pan on top that the water drops onto. Very little slime. Wireless is really cool,too. No extension cords and makes a clean install. It lets you know when the charge is low (maybe one a week), turns on with motion so that it does not run continuous. So far no take aways and I give it a thumbs up. Engineered and well thought out. Oh, and my 3 cats love it.

We have tried multiple different water fountains for our cat, some with a plastic base, one that was stainless steel but the water flowed consistently. We were excited to try this one because of the motion sensor aspect. We used the fountain for about a year, during which our cat loved it. I wouldn't say it's loud or quiet but when the water is flowing it's definitely audible which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. It's fairly easy to keep clean, the filters seem to be doing a good job and it's fairly easy to buy new ones. I like that the area where the water pools is shallow and whisker friendly!The reason I took off a star was the sensor. Like I mentioned, it was great while it was working but close to the one-year mark, it suddenly stopped working. We tried cleaning the base, checking if any wires were messed up but nothing would happen when the motion sensor mode was selected. We reached out to the email for customer service, but their inbox is full, so our message wasn't even delivered. We also reached out to Amazon, and they said besides the email, they weren't sure if we would be able to get into contact with them. If anything, we just wanted to know if there was another solution we didn't think of, or if the whole motor unit could be purchased separately so we could replace it but for the lack of customer service, I had to take another star.
