I recently moved up from the original Apple Watch to the newer Watch 3 which is water proof. It was a great idea to be able to keep up with work e-mail and phone while surfing !! My biggest challenge was a watch band for surfing. I read about quite a few losing the new Apple Watches with the Apple Sport band. I could not find any watch bands searching on Apple Watch Surf or surfing. So i played super google and settled on the CarterJett Tire Tread band. It is perfect for surfing, so far I have about 5 surfs on the band and no issues. There is no drying time after a surf, the rubber band sticks inside the rubber strap holder so no movement allowing it to come un fastened. Hopefully this helps anyone else in their super google search for an Apple Watch band recommended for Surfing. I cant recommend it enough. Fun in the sun from Cocoa Beach, Florida. If you reach around your wrist just above your hand touching your index finger and thumb together you can determine the over all size of your bones, large, med or small. If they overlap you have small bones. If they touch you have medium bones, and if there is a gap, and mine is several inches you have large bones. I just finished with a Nike GPS sport watch I could never wear due to the band being too small so I carried it on a lanyard when I went walking. NOW thanx to the Extra Long Tire Tread Band I have room to spare and am able to use all the functions of my Nike+ Apple Watch 3 i.e. the heart and activity monitors. Plus it looks great, and I really only have good things to say about it. If I might give a suggestion to the product company it might be better if it was a little less rubbery, because when I put it on I sometimes cinch is down too much and it can be a little hard to get it back off. Probably something I notice. Other wise if you have big bones and a large wrist it is awesome and gives the apple watch 3 a tough and classy look. Get one today...…

Only issues are that the sizing chart is really misleading, and the clasp and slide are on the bulky side which greatly adds to the difficulty of using it. The bulk and the stiff band end sticking out combine to make it very hard to wear without constantly readjusting it. But that is covered in other reviews. I had initially given it 4 stars for that reason, but Carterjett then contacted my wife at her email instead of me. I cannot get a straight answer from them on how they found her email and why they did not contact me. It is extremely creepy.

This L/XL size band makes a huge difference in comfort and fit. If your guy is bigger that average, he will want a band that has some room for adjustment, not a regular size where he has to wear it on the loosest setting and cannot even get the end flap through the band loop. The look is rugged but the feel is smooth - looks very stylish and completely changes his Apple Series 2 watch from a sleek business look with the silver Milanese band to complete weekend and sport wear.

Excellent band for the Apple Watch, has a very nice feel to it, not rough as it might appear in the pic. Wears really well and is comfortable all day long. Love the fact it has the traditional buckle on it instead of the cumbersome pin & tuck band that comes on the stock apple watch. Unlike the apple stock band sweat is not an issue because it has a grove on the side of the band that comes in contact with your skin to prevent sweat from building up. I work for a company that has 3,400+ employees and we get around 10,000 guests a day, I can't count the number of times I got great compliments on the watch band. I'm asked all the time, "that's an Apple watch? I never seen that band before" I then recommend they jump on Amazon to check it out. This band in my opinion is very fashionable goes with most anything, business,dress, casual; this band is a hit, a real crowd pleaser :)

I love my Apple watch...I have NOT been in love with the watch bands that were available. The sport band always looks and felt cheap, the nylon strap just seemed like much ado about nothing, and the milanese loop which I have used for the past year or so was better but everytime I made a sudden movement with my hand, wrestled with my kids, played with my dog, etc., the magnetic clasp would come loose and I felt like the watch would fall off. All I wanted was a traditional watch band like I've always had withthe old fashioned belt clasp type connector that was waterproof. This fits the bill. It actually feels tougher than other watch bands I've had in the past (before my Apple watch) and doesn't move when I do, which is great. Nice job on this watch band.

I was going to use for Windsurfing/Mt.bike with Apple watch but I have serious doubt about it now.At glance it looks tough but in close look the band material attached to the watch sides are very skinny. Not enough meat(material) to take a lot of force(?). Careless design - a small wedges near the pin. I start wondering if this band considering long time use under the outdoor UV(?).Yes it says use of stainless steel pin (at the watch side).However buckle side is ordinary watch pogo pin. The physics dictates that the force will be applied evenly including buckle pin.Heck it is only $20 so I will keep it but I feel I wasted money.Stainless steel pin is misleading+poor design or it may be marketed for the looks oriented users.It is not for me for sure.Please noteMy rating is based on the product descriptions of durability and not by the result of the usage.

There are small white spots on the Carterjett Apple Watch Band that I just purchased (see pictures). I have tried to contact Carterjett, but they have ignored my three (3) emails over the past few weeks. Carterjett sells high-priced (double and triple the cost of competitors) Apple Watch replacement bands. The least they can and should provide is quality customer service. Not responding to customer emails does not indicate a reputable or responsible company.I am disappointed in the customer service from this premium seller on Amazon. Ignoring customer complaints, questions, and concerns is the mark of an irresponsible merchant. Such a seller has no business selling expensive products on Amazon.

Se siente de buena calidad, la correa es suave al tacto, en medida me quedó bien, ajustó a la perfección. Se ve muy bien para uso sport o casual del diario. Los links que se montan en el Apple Watch tienen un excelente acabado con apariencia premium.
