Works perfectly
Everything about adaptor works better then expected. Fit and finish is perfect, the tank connector installed perfectly with no leaks at a quarter turn past hand tight, the tank adaptor works flawlessly, and the hose has plenty of length for most any installation. Just awesome!

It still works perfectly.
I remember being a little confused by the directions when I set it up, but I was able to figure it out. I have used this thing for more than 500 liters of soda water and it still works perfectly. The braided steel is nice and heavy duty. I have saved hundreds on bottle refills by upgrading to a CO2 tank and this puppy. Thankfully the soda stream has a built in regulator, so I didn't need to spend money on one of those. Highly recommended if you like carbonated water or beverages and used a soda stream to make them. Take a few minutes to convert to a tank and save even more than you would by switching to geico.

A Great Solution for Sparkling Water Enthusiasts
It happens to all of us. We acquire a taste for sparkling water and want to find an alternative to saving money, so the quest to solve this issue begins. After watching countless videos and reading several reviews, I have finally solved the problem that anyone reading this has experienced. I purchased a 5lb CO2 tank (no siphon and no turning upside down) and THIS ADAPTOR and connected everything to my DrinkMate. It works. I recommend staying away from refilling canisters because it's a finicky process. This method is the best, most affordable, and the CO2 tastes better.A quick tip: once you turn on the CO2 and begin pushing the button, shut off the CO2 tank and continue pushing. This saves CO2 because once you shut off the valve, there is still CO2 in the line. This will also relieve the pressure on the washer. We are literally saving money. Per month, approximately $3.00 vs. $60.00. $36.00 vs. $720.00 yearly. It's worth the purchase!

Works great for my soda stream. Not a perfect product but I'm happy with it.
WASHERS IN THE BAG ARE EXTRA:The washers that it comes with in the little bag are extras - this is not made clear in the instructions, so thanks for the other reviewers for pointing that out! Hopefully I won't ever need them, as I'd have no idea how to even replace those as they seem pretty tightly embedded in the tube connections.WHAT TO DO IF THE VALVE BEHIND THE GAUGE LEAKS:I got the newer version that's supposedly improved that comes with a gauge to show the pressure. Behind that gauge, there's a small circular valve you can twist with your fingers to release any pressure remaining in the tube. Make sure this is CLOSED tightly when you open your CO2 tank valve otherwise you'll just leak gas. Unfortunately this valve doesn't seal completely when it's tightened as much as possible, so I hear a slight leak. In order to not waste gas, whenever I use the sodastream now I open the tank valve, pump the sodastream 1-2 times, close the tank valve, and then continue pumping the sodastream until I use up all the remaining gas pressure in the tube. You'll see the gauge drop down back to 0 to confirm this, and the tubing also "relaxes". This way, no gas is wasted. You're supposed to close the tank valve anyways to be safe, so it's not that bad of an issue. That's why it's 4/5 stars. Once they come out with a completely leak proof system that will be 5 stars.

No Pressure Regulator!
So I loved this thing the first week or so; thought I had found the answer to those crazy expensive Soda Stream canisters..... Then the line began to leak at the Soda Stream unit when not in use which wasn't such a big deal, I simply shut off the bottle when not in use. After a week of this method I was painfully educated in why some of these Soda Stream work arounds use pressure regulators....I put the bottle into the machine and opened the valve on my 5lb tank to begin the process of the level pull 4-5 times. The gas surged into the water bottle and wouldn't stop. I shut the valve to the tank and the pressure of the gas continued to overflow the water in the bottle. In an attempt to stop the water from making a mess I titled the bottle to release it from the catchment and it shot at me like a cannon ball. Two inches to the right and I would have lost a testicle for sure. I could hardly walk for a week and the bruising on my thigh lasted for a month.I strongly suggest a version with a pressure regulator as the soda stream is not capable of the pressures carried in the industrial tanks!

Works good once you figure out the quirks
I was hesitant about putting a co2 tank inside our house. After reading other reviews I decided to try this adapter and it works great now. Here is what I learned.1) Clean the inside of the hose with either a water rinse or by holding the hose tightly and running co2 through it prior to using.2) Wrap the tank side with 3 turns of Teflon tape before attaching hose.3) Don't fill the h2o bottles past the fill line. If you over fill the h2o bottle water and co2 will leak from the quick connect inside your soda stream.4) The gaskets are extras that come in the packet.5) Clear out the air in the line before attaching a bottle of cold water. Shut off the co2 tank before the last charge into your bottle so you don't waste as much co2. Relieve any remaining pressure in the hose so that you don't get a rubbery taste to your soda water. Do this every time you use the machine for safety.

Easy to install. I just cut a small hole in the machine and ran the line through.I always shut off the valve after every use ...just in case

Works great to save a TON of money.
I'm used to the smaller cannisters from Sodastream, the ones which only get maybe 60 or so uses which make them much more expensive than advertised.Picked up this adapter to save money, and that it does. High quality and installation was extremely easy. Now I fill up a 5lb CO2 container for $23.50 from my local brewery shop which lasts me for at least a month to a month and a half. Prior to this I was using 5-6 of the $15 cannisters every month, you do the math.My only caveat was leaking. I found no evidence of leaking on this unit, I did the old spray detergent and look for bubbles routine and didn't find any. But I am still hesitant to fully trust it based on other reviews. The solution to my paranoia is quite simple, I just shut the CO2 tank off after every use.

Using on sodastream and 20lb cylinder. Nylon washer hard to insert but quality product
Excellent product! It works like a charm. Nylon washer was hard to insert in the adaptor but it does as described for my sodastream and my 20 pounds cylinder. No issue at all.

Works great, I wish I got this sooner
I found no taste difference at all, I did a pre wash just in case tho. Never be too careful.

Works great after getting a replacement connector.
Update: the company corrected the issue and shipped out a new connector. Works great! Haven’t had any issues since. Would recommend!…the connecter on this hose that goes into the soda stream had failed, costing me a full 5lb tank of co2 until I realized the issue. Putting myself and the family at risk. This is unacceptable.
