Here’s the thing…you need two people. So, first put on some disposable gloves, then cut two pieces of cardboard to the size you’re going to use, and put double faced tape on it. Then, you need to cut these with a box cutter, then heat it up with a heat gun.Pull the pieces apart carefully, each of you holding a piece and press the edges down on the cardboard. Be careful because it’ll stick to anything you touch with it. Only handle it around the edges if you can.Then you can put it anywhere you want to trap ANYTHING, cause it won’t get away from this sticky stuff! Make sure it’s nowhere your dog/cat/kids can touch it, or hilarity will ensue til bath time!

If you want a reliable rat or mouse trap don't bother a year old can do better than this it was rough to unstick apart but the rats not only did not stick but nor get caught the bait was all gone with the rats footprints all over it.

Can't understand negative reviews. Those must be from competitors.The first night one length, edges tapes down, caught me 7 Rats.That's RATS not mice. Large Rats at that.They DID NOT get off. Not one of them though I see they tried in vain.So it works very well.So well when I forgot it and accidently stepped on it I got stuck on it.Believe me it works. Do not step on it. LoL's sort of :)

I love the fact that the trap is CLEAR and has long range to cover an area instead of putting a bunch of individual traps down. I caught of the unwelcomed rodents within a week of placing traps down. It is suggested to use a blow dryer to pull it apart easily. Would’ve been more helpful if there were adhesive tabs on the trap to place them down easily. Might need 2 people to pull apart and to make sure it doesn’t get stuck together. It bends a little after it’s pulled apart.

Please do not buy. They all come rolled and folded, if you are not careful you get stuck. No mouse even came near this. They seem repelled to it because of the very construction. WILL NOT WORK. PLEASE DO NOT BUY.

I love how large these mouse sticky pads are. This product IS NOT the hard plastic trays with glue on them like im use to buying at my local hardware store. Surprisingly, they are paper with heavy duty glue on top to which the animal will try to walk across and then get stuck. The glue is strong enough to keep the pest stuck so I can then dispose of properly. One entire sheet can be cut down to approximately 10 smaller, if not more,sticky traps for mice. These pads can even be used to catch rats, snakes, or even larger animals. I can't believe I didn't look for these sooner. I have started using this product the same day I received them in the mail and I have trapped 3 mice just overnight. I first bought the black glue pads but later purchased the clear pads because they were cheaper. And I can tell you that the clear pads are just as good as any other glue trap for mice out there.

Unfortunately these do not work for larger rats. They just run right over it and it doesn't grab them at all. I gave 2 stars because it has caught a small handful of baby rats, like mice size, but that not being the problem, they don't work for me. Yes it takes 2 people to pull it apart which isn't a big deal because I read the description and knew the length was obviously going to be longer then I could do alone. Yes it's pretty sticky when pulling a part so it is a toughy but unfortunately doesn't catch medium + sized rats so I'll be looking elsewhere for something better.
