Accurate, easy to use and the App makes it well worth the money.
I used this to make a comparison with the JBL drop checker and this was far better, I always check the strip in the same place in similar light and tested the kit by doing many tests when I first got it, hardly no variation between tests even doing 4 tests one after another, I also got the water chemically checked at a local aquarist shop and they were pretty much the same so very impressed, I still use a drop checker (not the JBL) as I've now upgraded to pressurised CO2 but use the strips every couple of weeks.

Quick and simple
Excellent bit of tech. You do have to make sure you are in good light or it can throw the readings out a little. Have used this then got out the old test sets to check levels as show as out but weren’t due to bad lighting.Overall good item and reliable

Easy to use
Easy to use, slightly expensive but worth it, when used with the app, it tells you a breakdown of all the levels in your tank, and if there are any issues, and how to solve those issues.

Waste of money
This used to be a good product but since the app was updated it has become useless. The nitrate and nitrite readings are always high compared with all other water test products. As a control I tested a sample of fresh Ro filtered water and the nitrate and nitrite values were indicated as DANGEROUSLY high. I won’t be wasting my money on this rubbish again.

Consistent and pretty accurate
Not sure why some reviews are flaky in regards to inaccuracies etc. I use a seneye device that is calibrated to my drop tests and these strips seam to be in good sync with my drop test and seneye results, i use them every other day just to keep an eye on the tank and do a proper drop test every other week. I would like to see a ammonia reading on the sticks though. I take the test at the same time each night when its dark and use my ceiling light that is very bright to ensure i have the same lighting on every test and never had any issues at all. Just make sure you dip the test for 2-3 seconds and make sure the dip time is part of the 60 second timer on the app.

Inaccurate / Easy to read
I have used 6 sets of refills, so now feel able to give a good review.I hate comparing the colours on tests, so this seemed perfect and what's more it kept a history so saving me keeping a diary with the figures. But it's so in accurate that it's useless. I've tried to see if I could work out the perfect lighting conditions but have failed after 6 packs of refills. Maybe my colour card is faulty.Pro:- Easy to read- keeps history (best feature)- app has built in timerCon:- App buggy; worked well at first but now reports unable to sync readings.- In accurate; will give 18 for nitrates on RO water, whilst API test says 0. More scary is when it gives a nitrites reading of 0.25, again when it should say 0.Bottom line: Great idea, would try an improved version, but this version is not there yet.

Great at taking readings
Whiklst this is a simple way to take multiple readings and the app works well for reading its not so hot at saving your readings.

Good guide but not precisely accurate.
This is quite an easy to use rough guide for your aquarium water parameters. Broadly agrees with results from a proper master test kit. Lightning conditions make a huge difference to readings, recommend using in natural light but not in direct sunshine. Much better than the Tetra brand of similar system.
