KIMANDJO Soft Brown Italian Leather Handbag, Shoulder Bag or Slouch Bag

Bags don't often bring me to tears, but this one did for all the wrong reasons. My husband purchased its' double for me in Venice last year on my 50th birthday. It was stolen shortly afterwards with my car. We searched endlessly to find a replacement, even returned to Venice at Christmas but no joy. So I was ecstatic to find this one as it looked identical. It arrived the very next day, just in time for my birthday. When I opened the box the colour was wonderful and the leather buttery soft. Then we looked closely. Along the front edge of the bag, was a long black bruise or scrape. Just above it was an inch wide scratch, almost a cut. My husband suspected the bruise might have polished out, but didn't want to take the chance in case it didn't. Nothing could be done about the cut, scratch, or the faulty stitching on the shoulder strap. Not what you expect for a £70 handbag. You cannot believe how tempted I was to keep it, and it broke my heart to put it back in the box. If you get a perfect one of these bags, you will be delighted. The leather is like butter and the bag sits comfortably on your shoulder, and is very capacious without being bulky. But, mine was returned within half an hour of delivery and I am more disappointed than I can say as is my husband. No birthday present and back to the search. Not sure I could stand the disappointment of re-ordering and it happening again.

I had to write a review for this when I realised I bought it in 2015 and have used it nearly every day since (break for 3 months when someone gave me a different bag but it didn’t cope with my life!). It’s indestructible! I throw and drop it everywhere, the dog investigates it regularly, it holds everything (probably including the kitchen sink because it definitely holds a lot of shopping including a bottle of wine!). I have so many (redundant for 6 years) handbags but this is the most amazing one I ever bought! It doesn’t look brand new anymore, instead it’s aged with this lovely antique leather effect. Love it, just love it and anybody who loves handbags will understand when I say that I will cry when this one waves me goodbye!

Gorgeous leather bag. Love the slouch style. Very roomy & perfect size for me. Lovely rich chestnut colour. I like the inner central zip pocket which has no gap underneath so separates the inside of the bag. If I had one complaint it's that the strap is quite rigid so it gets in the way when trying to rummage inside. Other than that it's a perfect bag which I would recommend to anyone who likes a big bag and the smell of leather!

After reading some of the earlier reviews I nearly didn't buy this bag.....BUT I did and I am delighted! It looks good as though it should have cost more the inside of the bag is where the true cost shows. It is adequate but the cotton material used for the zip pocket and lining is flimsy and does not hold its shape aand I find I frequently lose stuff underneath the zipped-up pocket and as another reviewer noted the side pocket is not big enough for a smart phone but I have found other things to stuff in there. Overall I am pleased I bought it.

Leather quality is good and it looks well made from the outside. However, the lining is very thin and the zipped pocket sags in the middle so it is extremely hard to open without putting the bag down and using both hands (not always practical). The fact that the lining is black means you can't see anything when you look into the bag and as both sides look and feel the same it's hard to find anything. I find myself groping about and as a result the lining has now torn away on one side so things keep disappearing between the leather and the lining. For a bag of third price I don't feel it's well enough made. A light-coloured stiffer lining and central pocket with a good quality zip would make all the difference.

This bag is lovely. The colour, style and feel is really good. The separate sections make it so easy to find items even though it has a good capacity. It stands rather than falls over when you put it down and stays on your shoulder when carrying it. Excellent buy

Really poor quality. Very thin and to me doesn't feel or smell like leather. So not £69.99 and certainly not worth the price it says as recommended - £90. I've sent it back as just not what I was expecting for the price. Unlike the pictures in the advert, there was no Kimandjo label with the bag and the little leather tag within the bag (which does smell like leather) doesn't say 'Kimandgo genuine leather made in Italy'. It has very faint imprint on it which you can just make out reads 'genuine leather'. Well the tag within the bag does look like genuine leather but not sure if the actual bag is! So not impressed, can't recommend.

I thought this would be the bag I have been searching for. The initial order never arrived...3 weeks of waiting and nothing. I ordered once more and this time delivery was prompt. However, although the leather was reasonable, outer stitching and internal lining were poor. The small inside pocket was more of a cheap papery material and the rest of the lining certainly did not reflect a quality bag. Very disappointed and sadly had to return. The quest continues:(
