Unitec 75555 Tyre Bag 4 Piece

Bought a set of wheels to have seasonal wheels/tyres on my Honda Civic Type R. These comfortably fit 17" 7J wheels on 205/45/R17 tyres with no issue.I took the tyre bags to a tyre shop to get my new wheels sorted and to put the old wheels in the car via these bags. The guys there said that these are ingenious and without even looking at the miniscule instructions they set off to get them wrapped around the old wheels. Took them 5mins tops.Review was to give a direct wheel and tyre size for people who couldn't confirm that these will fit 17". They're great value and do a good job. I think some people expect far too much for tyre bags - they bag tyres, job done.

For the price not bad.Disappointed with 2 covers annotating the same tyre on the picture. Nothing a white paint pen and a red marker didn't sort.Brought for storing my 205/55/16 winter tyres on a tyre tree. They fit fine.I wouldn't want to carry the wheel and tyres in the bags though as the stitching where the strap attaches to the bag appears very flimsy. It's also a shame there isn't more length on the straps.The pull cords on either end are far from brilliant and don't hold as well as they should, nothing a knot can't sort.But these are cheap to buy and they're more than adequate for what i need.

Having decided to get a set of winter wheels & tyres for my car, I thought it a good idea to invest in a set of these tyre bags as well. This means that the set of wheels & tyres that isn't on the car will be in them.They're straightforward to get the wheels & tyres into - by putting part of the bag over the tyre and then rolling it along a path to get the rest in works well. Then tighten up the strap before pulling in the cords on each side over the sidewall. Although the materials are lightweight, they seem to be very much up to the job, and there were no quality issues at all. The strap forms a handle, which is useful for carrying.The markings on the bags are very useful, so you know which wheel & tyre had been on what corner of the car.I'm very pleased with the purchase, and at the price Amazon charge, I feel they are good value for money.

Wanted wheel covers for my summer/winter tyre changes. These are a great price but the information on them didn't indicate whether they would fit my wheels or not. Anyway took the plunge and was delighted.Wheel sizes 13 to 18 inch (33cm to 46cm) with maximum diameter 62cm. This is what is printed on the packaging.To put into context They won't fit my Volvo XC90 18 inch wheels and tyres - the wheel and tyre combo is just too big.Will fit Mercedes C class with 255/35 x 18 (AMG sport alloys), so do fit 18 inch wheels depending on the tyre combination, and will of course fit small wheel even with wide rubber.Construction is fairly thin black rips top nylon, red web strap with a handle loop and nylon draw strings on either side.Wasn't too trusting if the handle part; my wheels are heavy but works okay.Overall at less than half the price of the more popular type beginning with R a great deal!!

These cost effective covers are ideal for my motorsport tyres, slicks and wets. After a wet hillclimb weekend, the covered wheels can go in the car without leaving mud etc. There is a knack to fitting the covers. My tyres are 205/50 R15 on light alloy rims. In particular the sleeve needs a Z fold in one place to match the outer circumference. Also the nylon strap requires a multi-pass wrap around the buckle to avoid subsequent slipping. When done properly, a 13-14 kg wheel can be lifted by the handle without slip or damage to the cover. Hope that helps.

These covers are flimsy. They fit quite well but the drawstring and its fastener are woefully inadequate. The grip lock does nit hold any tension whatsoever. Finally the fastener for the belt around the tyre also is poor allowing no tension.

But you have to pull and pull and pull. They are a tight fit. I suppose this is how they are supposed to fit since the wheels are inflated. If you only store tyres (not complete wheels) the should be a more loose fit.Another reviewer said these fitted 205/55/R16 wheels which is correct since they both have the same outer diameter. You should also be able to store 225/45/R17 and 225/40/R18. They are pretty wide. Although the larger the tyre, the harder it will be to pull the bag over it.I can carry the wheels by the handle. The buckle stays tight. You just have to put the red strap twice through it.The reason I gave it 1 star is because I received only 3 bags. In the bag of this item, as well as on the site, it is mentioned there should be 4 bags. I see that no one had this problem until now.

Nice product, fit well to my 205/55R16 tyres. But they feel a bit 'not very strong'. I might be wrong, need to wait and see their state after I handle them couple of times.
