**update 25 Nov,17As promised based on my previous review I am updating my concerns about the sodium benzoate and citric acid. The sellers finally got back to me and this was the response:"The sodium benzoate is a food grade preservative. The citric acid is used to adjust the pH of the product if necessary. When the citric acid is used for adjusting the pH it is used up in the pH reaction. There is no free acid available to react to form such a reaction in the product. Many factors must occur for a reaction to create free benzene to occur if at all possible. The correct chemical weights necessary of each component of the reaction must be available for the reaction to occur. This is known as stoi·chi·om·e·try ]Defined as 1. the calculation of the quantities of chemical elements or compounds involved in chemical reactions.2. the branch of chemistry dealing with relationships of combining elements, especially quantitatively.The presence of metal ions are usually key to driving the reaction. We are obligated to be transparent and include all possible ingredients on the label if any adjustments to pH are necessary. "I am not a chemist but this puts my mind at ease to use this product without concern. I am posting it here in case anyone else looks at the ingredients and has the same concerns as I did. I also take the Kala Health MSM flakes so this is a good way of getting MSM inside and out.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I will amend this review upon hearing back from the seller however at the moment I have concerns about the ingredient sodium benzoate and citric acid. Both are preservatives. I did a quick search to understand the purpose of including these ingredients and I easily found that sodium benzoate combined with citric acid produces benzene, a know carcinogenic!So basically I bought this to help my skin and aches and I might give myself cancer?I havd contacted the seller who has contacted the manufacturer. I was promised some sort of answer but I haven't heard anything yet. Perhaps this review will prompt them. They may very well come back to say that the levels are so minimal that the risks are small but why add sodium benzoate? It would be perfect with just the citric acid.So close to being perfect but not yet.

This is the only MSM Gel that I could find that comes with a pump dispenser, which is really handy if you want to increase the strength of the MSM with some additional ground down MSM powder. The Gel is absorbed very well and only takes a minute or so. I have only been using it for a few days so it is too early to say how good it is, but as far as I can see it is a for gone conclusion, as MSM is a "Miracle" product so putting it into a Gel for topical use is a no-brainer. For those who do not know about MSM, try reading "The Miracle of MSM" by Stanley Jacob.MD, Ronald Lawrence MD, PhD, and Martin Zucker. You will not be disappointed, as you will find that it relieves pain, headaches, muscle pain, arthritis, athletic injuries, allergies and much much more. It does not cure ailments, but is a fantastic "Natural" product that helps in ways that drugs cannot and without any side effects. So taking MSM powder orally coupled with this MSM Gel topically is a very good course of action for Arthritis, Muscle Pain, Athletic Injuries, Fibromyalgia, Tendinitis and Bursitis, Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and TMJ etc. It is basically an anti-inflammatory. I have been taking MSM Powder for a couple of weeks now and using this MSM Gel for a few days, and the Ostio-arthritis pain in my knee had disappeared already, and I was told I need a knee replacement. My Sinitus has also subsided as I have been allergic to House Dust and all sorts of Pollens since I was 17 years old and I am now 65, and I usually count down to the Hayfever Season but I think think this year may be an exception. All I can say is try this MSM Gel but use the MSM Powder with it for best results and I will wait for your amazing reviews to appear soon. Oh, last thing, as you will read in the book if you buy it, MSM can sometimes take a while to work or sometimes can work very quickly so be patient.

Ok product to use, but didn't really improve skin's overall condition.

I really love this gel! It feels like it really help the skin recover fast. During the summer I got some annoying skin infections that Im having trouble healing nice. As I prefer not having scares (As most people I guess) I have been trying all kind of stuff to make it heal and look nice without leaving to much damage to my skin. And when i used this gel, you can visible see a fast change. It heals faster when I use it. I usually use it during the day, when possible and before bed. Next day you see the difference. I don't wear it at all or a very small amount when Im out, as it tend to feel quite sticky and when applying to many layers (As I have in desperation) It becomes flaky and peel of. - Not a good look! But at home I would bath in it all day long if I could. I would prefer always having a bottle at home. I have almost used the one I purchased and would love a new one! Unfortunately the delivery cost is very high, and thats the only thing preventing me from keep buying it.I think it should offer pain relief as well (as MSM do), but not sure it actually does.The delivery cost would only get 1 star, but as I really love the product I'll give it a total of 4 stars.
