I hate to have to admit it, but it's true - I am a woman with hirsutism. I had to start shaving my chin at 14 and have had to shave daily since then (I'm 35 now). For a while in 2015 I was unemployed so I let my chin hairs grown out for about a week and then went to one of those shops that do nails and waxing and tried to get my chin waxed. It was a failure. The woman doing it used the cloth wax strips that they use for doing eyebrows and all that did was leave bits of fabric stuck to my face. And she tried to say that she wasn't equipped to wax me and that I needed electrolysis. She wasn't wrong, I did need electrolysis, but that wasn't an option for me until 2018. I tried it out and went for 3 sessions for a total of $300+ before I said, enough is enough; this isn't working well or fast enough to justify the expense. Fast forward to a few months ago, I decided to buy a lighted mirror and pluck every night. It was satisfying, but it didn't always get the hair by the root; sometimes it just broke off. Also, I ended up bleeding a lot because of trying to dig for the root with my sharp tweezers. All that created a lot more discoloration on my face.So now, in quarantine, I decided to just let my whiskers grow for two weeks just to see what would happen. I damn near grew a beard, that's what happened. But before I started growing it, I ordered this wax. I realized that if my hair was like a man's, I needed a man's wax. I watched videos on YouTube of men getting waxed and considered that the wax for men might be somewhat different than the wax marketed for women. Over the years, I've tried sugaring, both homemade and store-bought (the homemade was when I was in high school and I ended up destroying one of my mom's plastic bowls and she was furious), I've tried all kinds of Nair wax strips and depilatory creams, and like I've already said, shaving and getting waxed at the nail salon. Nothing really worked well enough for me to continue it. Electrolysis didn't work well either (maybe if I had way more money and free time than I currently do).After two weeks of letting things grow and feeling like I could probably grow more chin hair faster and thicker than most men I know, I heated up this wax. Since I don't have a wax melter, I wrapped it in foil and put it in a pot on medium first, then low heat. I don't have those wooden sticks they use in the shops, but I did have a pair of wooden chopsticks that hadn't been separated. They were just right for what I needed.Waxing with this was far less painful than plucking and I loved the dark color and glittery shine of the product. I didn't really like the heavily masculine scent, but it is wax for men. This is perfect for coarse chin/jaw/beard hairs. It's definitely made specifically for that kind of hair because I tested it by using it on my upper lip. Although I could theoretically grow a Dumbledore-esque beard from my chin, I only have peach fuzz on my upper lip. It did not grab that hair well at all.Also, fyi, all the videos I watched said to cleanse, exfoliate, then dust with talcum powder or cornstarch before you start waxing. I showered and exfoliated first, then dusted my face with cornstarch. The cornstarch seemed essential to getting the most hair off. It took me quite a while because I noticed that my beard grows in all different directions so I had to go over it several different ways. You always want to apply in the direction of the hair growth and remove against it.Overall, I'm just in awe of how well it worked. I sat looking at the hairiest bits of ripped off wax for a while after I finished. I'm really kind of angry that there is not a product this good that is marketed to women, but I sincerely hope I can continue buying this for as long as I need it. I started waxing in the hopes that what happened with my eyebrows would happen with my whiskers. I waxed my eyebrows for a good 7-8 years before I just didn't need to anymore. The hair stopped growing. Even if it takes that long with my chin hairs, I'm gonna try. It's soooo smooth compared to shaving or plucking. I don't want to go back even if it does take more time.Honestly, my only complaint with the whole thing is that I wish the smell was less masculine, but that's like ordering a cheeseburger and then complaining about the cheese.Anyway, male or female, you will like this wax.

I have been a waxed since 2016 & let me just tell you I’ve been using Waxness for so many years now & I highly recommend it to all professionals out there. I tried this specific one this year & it became my favorite out of all the other ones. The consistency is perfect for course hair on men & women. It gets out all the hairs out without having to go over. Smooth application & finish. Great for sensitive skin. Keeps your skin silky smooth.

2/05/2019 ordered Sunday, arrived today (thx prime)This product sounded interesting as I was going to order Ceripil (my go to brand).As soon as I got it I threw it in the warmer to melt and is a beautiful color! It’s galazy grey and shimmery. Not a strong scent as Ceripil Blue Wax is so that’s a nice touch. The packing is sleek and sexy.I tried it in my face and it’s nice, I do like it so far. I can’t try it just yet on other areas as I just Sugared myself the other day. I’m excited to see how this will work for a Brazilian clean after a sugar session.IllCome back for an updated review.

I am very new to waxing. I wouldn’t consider myself the waxing type of guy (if there is such a thing.) I have a very strong revulsion against body hair. It may have been useful for cavemen, but in the 21st century it’s a nuisance imo. That being said, I have always been the shaving type of guy (if there is such a thing) and decided I was sick of razor bumps and the prickles in my nether regions. I suppose my review may only mean so much, since all I have to compare it to are off the shelf kind from Walmart. That was a disaster! Microwave heating is a terrible way to go since all the trips back and forth and inability to regulate temperature make for terrible results. The soft kind was a mess and a b*tch to clean off. Then I tried the stupid pre waxed strips, and they worked only on fine hair but not course hair.I just received this product and I also brought a warmer, which is essential! It takes about half hour to warm up properly, but after that I had my chest waxed in about 25 minutes with great results. A few were left, but tweezers got them and it was probably user error anyways.Pros:- Easy to clean up (provided you use common sense and don’t use it over carpeting)- NO SMELL. I hate smelly products, including fragrances. So you wont smell like bad potpourri or the dreaded lavender.- Strong, but make sure you have at least 1/4 inch. I did notice that it did get some shorter ones though.- Once you warm it up in the warmer, you can use as much as you need then let the rest chill in the metal tin for later use. Just warm it back up and its good to go.- Kind of silly, but it looks cool, I know I know its not a real “pro” but it reminds me Terminator II for some reason.Cons:- It takes awhile to warm up, so budget your time accordingly. I think this is true of any hard wax though.- It doesn’t come with many wood spatulas, so buy some in addition, they aren’t too expensive.If you want to go full “bro-zillian” then this would probably work well for that. I haven’t tried it yet, but I will probably give that a go soon, but may need the wife’s help.At this point, I cannot think of any more cons, so I will leave it at that. Overall its a fantastic product, never mind that stupid “only licensed beautician only” label. What a stupid thing to put anyways. Licensed? OMG we aren’t talking about medical equipment. Just use basic common sense, and if you are aware that you lack such common sense, have your wife do it for you. Chances are she has more than you anyways.

I had high hopes for this. We heated it up, put it on how the instructions said to,it took off hair, in patches, where ever it decided to. I thought my marriage was going to be over by the half way mark. I've never felt more scared that I may get punched or kicked by my husband than I did the night we tried this. Lol I do not recommend it unless you are into inflicting pain on yourself or others. Maybe we used it wrong somehow, but we followed all the directions and just wouldn't want to try it again. These are awesome! They’re really good for taking out hair and you can take out almost everything in the area with one pull. They’re also a beautiful metallic silver colour and are really pretty. They last a long time too. It’s been a few months and I’m not even halfway through the bag (of course if you wax more, you’ll go through it faster)

Amazing wax, doesn't break easily, applies smoothly, and gets hair much less painfully than other waxes!
