I use this product everyday every month. I buy 12 of these each year. After about 1 month, they turn brown. That’s when I replace it with a new one. So far, Ive used 12 of these. They work well, they don’t fall apart it they do need to be replaced every month. When I take them out of the water and squeeze them, suds come out. That tells me it’s doing its job, capturing the oils and lotions and soaps in the water. I highly suggest this product but I suggest buying in bulk.

They do a good job of absorbing oils from the pool. I also like that they are sturdy enough to allow frogs, etc. that get trapped in the skimmers to climb on top of them so as not to drown until rescued. 🙂

Really liked these at first but they didn't last very long. Can't re-use so have to throw out. Ended up getting the pillowy-like ones that you can wash and re-use which is better value for the money.

Yes, they work great! Unfortunately, the 4-packs I purchased have no instructions on its use. What is the proper method to clean the sponges?

These little starfish absorb all the oil and sunscreen yuk. Used them for years

It falls apart in the hot tub. Scumbug or scum ray are much much better.
