Therm-a-RestNeoAir Venture Camping and Backpacking Sleeping Pad

my husband and I sleep on these mats always. side by side in the house we live in,( beds are for guests). if you have or ever had back issues these are perfect ...... we travel with them, they fold up to a reasonable size for the suitcase and go where we go any where in the worldI blow mine up to max capacity pretty hard and he likes his softer, easy peasy

After a great deal of research, we settled on trying two of the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Venture pads because of the balance of reasonable price, small pack size, light weight, larger size option, and thickness for a more comfortable night's sleep than our older inflatable or RidgeRest pads. I was afraid it would be like sleeping on a bag of potato chips, as it seemed rather crinkly when delivered and first inflated, but I slept like a baby (while eight months pregnant) on this pad through night-time temps ranging from the 60s to the 30s. We bought two and my husband and I put them together in a full/double fitted sheet with a double bag on top. I also added a Z Lite pad under my side for a little extra firmness due to sleeping on my side. We put them through lots of inflating and deflating cycles on the ten-day camping stretch of a road trip through Theodore Roosevelt NP, Lewis and Clark NF, Glacier NP, Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF, and Yellowstone NP with no issues. This was our first experience with the new valve and it's a definite improvement over the older and simpler two-way valve! We still have two of those pads, handed down to the kids and functional, but with the extra thickness of the NeoAir Venture I was glad for the one-way valve and the inflation bag!

Me and my wife use this sleeping pad now for a few month almost daily and are very pleased with the sleeping comfort and the value for money. The pad keeps the air insight and in- and deflating is easy. It would be nice that Therma rest would have provided the small pump with the pad as it did with its predecessor. Only downside is that the mad is a little hard to clean.

Light, small ands still robust enoughI find them even better than their top if the line mattress (just too fragile)

This mat is perfect for backpacking and camping. Rolls up small and tight!

Wouldnt be without it. Insulates well against ground moisture and body heat loss. About twenty breaths to inflate. Can be slippery. Insert between sleeping bag and bivvy bag stopped the slideing around. Crunchy sound dimineshes with use.

Key was this thermarest brand , did not and WOULD NOT SELF INFLATE. Don’t buy this particular product. Now I’ll order a different brand of self inflating camping mattress on hope that it fulfills what is stated

Literally the best mattress ever it’s very comfortable and folds down super small it’s just a bit loud when you roll around but I didn’t find that problematic.

Por el momento todo bien, la he usado unas cuantas veces y muy fácil de montar y desmontar. Es muy cómoda.La única pega que le veo es el sonido cuando te cambias de posición. Imagino que es debido a los componentes usados para repartir el aire y de esa forma sea mejor su comodidad.
