Great way to start your day
Great taste from first cup to last one of the day. We love the smell as soon as you open the bag you can tell it’s going to be good. We have purchased many types of Joe coffee and have never been disappointed. I would recommend you try them all you won’t be disappointed. Fred

Great Product!
Bought for a permanent charter jet client. They love the taste of the coffee doesn't have that bitter taste that some coffee seems to have. Can not find it in any stores in our area so its nice to know we can keep it in stock now.

Tastes good foR black drip coffee
I’m not fancy, I just brew black coffee in my standard pot. This coffee tastes good, is easy to drink, and not overpowering. Thats bare minimum for Any coffee really. I find This is just OK, I haven’t reordered. I prefer other brands.

poor quality + old and stale
was looking for some decaf coffee for an occasional late night espresso at home. unfortunately the roast date on my coffee is 8 months old and the grind was very inconsistent and way too coarse and clumpy

No Sleep Till Brooklyn
I wasn't expecting Great Heights from Joe Coffee to be so darn good. It roasted in Brookly, not Portland for goodness sake. 😅 Seriously though, this is quality coffee. My bag was recently roasted on Oct. 19, 2021, and it is now Nov. 16. That's less than a month and you can tell that it is super fresh because the aroma is inviting and I can pick up all of the tasting notes.Brewed, it is smooth with very little bitterness. I enjoyed it both black and with creamer and sugar. The latter really brings out the coffee's subtle flavors. This is a dark roast, but it has closer to a medium character. I normally prefer to burr grind my own coffee, but when it is this fresh I'm fine with it.There is one curiosity (for me anyway). The coffee bean grounds are very uneven. Some are fine and some are large. They look like crushed up cocoa nibs. It is my understanding that coffee is best when the grounds are of an even size and not all over the place. That said, somehow this works. Who am I to argue with my own taste buds. The price is a little higher than I normally pay for a 12oz. bag of coffee, but this joe is worth it.Coffee sourced from Brazil, Roasted in Red Hook, Brooklyn, USA.~ Kort

Not whole bean
I know the listing says ground, but I had been searching for whole bean, and it does clearly say on the bag "whole bean" so I bought thinking it was whole bean. I will give them benefit of the doubt and do 3 stars, but I didn't even taste it since it was pre-ground and I could not run through espresso maker.

Great coffee with a robust flavor and no acidic bite
When I saw this brand of coffee, which I didn't know, come up for review on VINE, I was happy to do so. I'm a life-long coffee drinker and really enjoy tasting different blends and brands. In this case, I've now tested this as hot morning coffee and also as iced coffee for afternoon enjoyment. I've also served this to other folks, who concur in my review here."A good cup of coffee," "bold," "a rich flavor with a mocha character" and "no bite, which is nice." Those are some of the comments heard in our home. Then, I need to stress: Reviews of food products are highly personal. One person's cup of great coffee is another person's rejected cup. Also, one person can detect flavors that another person can't spot.Having said all of that, the best we can get here with the 3 flavors listed on the package is: "Yeah, it's a kind of mocha coffee." We detect that chocolate character. Could we tell there's molasses? No, except for the mention on the label. Could we tell there's cinnamon? No, again, except for the label.Would we buy more? Certainly. In our experience, too, the listed price seems reasonable. It's not cheap, but we routinely pay prices like this for this amount of coffee. Is this coffee worth that price? Yes.So we're happy to give this 5 stars.
