Overall I'd say it's a good value for the price. The wires are great, I haven't found any flaws. However, the box is horrible. Be prepared to spend 20 minutes sorting all the wires out when you receive it. The dividers don't meet the flimsy lid, so any shaking causes the wires to mix up. The lid latch is very weak. If you accidentally drop the box, the dividers can pop out... Basically be very careful with the box!

Comes with WAY more pieces than I realized. With 5 or 6 breadboards and twice as many projects floating in and out of my head and to the breadboards in and out with the day, I've not used even HALF the pieces. THERE ARE ZER [0] NONE FEMALE DuPONT JUMPERS. They are RARELY needed and any debugger/programmer/powered device that uses them almost ALWAYS comes with them. It's like a weird unwritten rule in hobby electronics. Outside of the lack of female DuPonts (and there are PLENTY of male ones, btw!) there's nothing you will need wire/cord/connector wise for ANY hobby electrical and/or breadboard project, I promise. All the moldings are well done, and there is zero play where extra metal inserts are involved. The tweezers are perfect for handling the connectors and they are ergonomic as heck, a nice surprise. Comes with a clear case like one would use as a kid for fishing.....very Plano-like, with the positives and negatives that implies. Positives= does what it should almost without fail or fault as it is a SINGLE molded piece (the lid being an obvious second) Negatives= don't turn the case upside down and shake it like crazy because some of the really small pieces will migrate to different places, if you happen to be OCD. I couldn't find these cheaper, with a case to keep the mess in order, with jumpers both long, short, rigid, solid, and tweezers to apply and remove them, for anywhere near this price. I ordered and love being suprised that something you never laid eyes on wound up being MUCH better than you could have dreamed of recieving. This is one of those rare times. I have no idea how they do it for so dang cheap. Could not more STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU DO BUY this before 'they,' like others, realize they can charge more due to the quality and people will gladly pay it because not many people are rich enough to buy junk.

Small container is excellent for student take-home electronics component kit.
