I used a 2 gallon water and 2 gallon gas container and it worked great. You have to adjust both pieces to get the right distance. Easy to do. Is tight on mount and seems sturdy too

Cheaply Made
The metal is cheap and doesn't lock so the outer pax rotates while driving and offroading.
