This part works 100% on gen 1 ( 2004-2011) Bentley Continental car. I haven’t try that on Gen2 ( 2012-2018 / FlySpr 2014-2018). Buy with confidence, this will work. This will most likely not correct you power train CAN single wire issue created by shifter fault. People say they took vehicle a part and this part doesn’t fit??? You are most likely doing something wrong or installing on another Volkswagen group product? Works perfect on Bentley model mentioned above.

Looked great for a fraction of the price, Of course I’m a dealer and I sold the car, But it definitely did the trick. And It did show the P-R-N-D lit up on dash. My broken one did not

Unit never worked properly. All the lights on the shift screen came up together once D was selected, signifying that the car was in Limp Mode. Replaced the dust cover with an OEM version and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately was not able to install the defective unit until after the Return Window limit, so I wasted my money by going cheap.

Part number on amazon is correct and pictures are correct packaging is correct but when it showed up it doesn't look like pictures or fit or work properly and not correct. After taking the entire center console apart to access area to repair with lots of clips and wires the part didn't work so it's frustrating do yourself a favor and just order an oem part from dealer for 250$ and save the headache
