Good strong adapter with minor modification needed.
Although this device did not fit my binoculars the way it is designed (thumbscrew bolt is too short to seat bracket properly), a simple swap with a longer bolt was all it took to make it work. I ended up putting a nylon insert lock nut on each side of the bracket so that I could lock it in tightly. Could the adapter be better? Absolutely! It could have fit my binocular without modification, but given that there are so many different models, sizes, brands, and styles of binoculars available, it would not be fair for me to expect it to fit without a small tweak. This is a great product that meets the needs of a very niche market. There is an e-clip retainer that must be removed to replace the large thumb screw. It is seated below the surface and inside the narrow hollow space, so a tiny screwdriver and a little extra effort is needed. See photos for reference. I attached a picatinny rail to my bracket, so I can mount a compact green light to see at night. It's perfect for the job!

Just what I needed
Needs a slot for screwdriver, hard to tighten with fingers.

Held my DLSR with a zoom lens, a couple pounds worth with NO movement
Do not trust review that claim it bends, I put a camera with zoom lens (just a hair under 2 pounds) and no matter how I moved it nothing would move or bend. Unless your binoculars weigh twice as much I doubt you can get it to bend. I do not have any 4 or 5 pound binoculars to test that. Does not wiggle once the full weigh of equipment it put on it. The lighter the item the less stable since it has no rubber on the bottom side but the added weight increases the friction and reduces any slight movement that could occur like on one other, more expensive, alternative. Great for astrophotography or fireworks as well as holding zoom binoculars and a tripod. I shot a video but do not have time to post it now.

Very Sturdy But Not Quite There
Very sturdy, easy to use binocular tripod bracket. If it came with an assortment of small o-rings or flat washers to snug the bracket up to the binoculars it would merit 5 stars. However, can't go wrong for the price.

Nice bracket but beware of C-Clip that holds the knob to the bracket.
The image is slightly different from what I received and a slight modification needed to be made. The image shows the knob is screwed through a threaded hole in the metal. Actually, the hole is larger than the threads of the knob and a C-Clip keeps the knob from falling out. When I received the bracket, the C-Clip was clipped onto lowest screw thread and would not allow me to tighten the bracket to the binocular. I removed the C-Clip and placed it around the non-threaded part of the knob. Unfortunately, the C-Clip is too large and has a tendency to fall out allowing the knob to fall out. The C-Clip just holds the knob onto the bracket and really isn't even needed. Just be careful and it will then tighten to the binocular. Two things make this bracket nice. It is low profile and has the extra threaded hole in the bracket that fits the head screw and spring-loaded button that most tripod heads have. This allows my heavy 10x80 binoculars to be very stable on the tripod.

Shaky but ok for the money
This works with my vortex 10x50 Binos and Redfield/Leupold 10x40s. It mounts simple, and works, but because of its shape it can be shaky in the wind or while you’re holding the binos. For the price though, I’d buy again.

Perfect for casual user
I was looking for a way to put my expensive binoculars on a simple tripod so I could watch birds around my bird feeder. I have several tripods, all for cameras, but I thought this would work great. It was inexpensive, fit all my tripods, and was easy to use. Once I set it up, I don't touch it. When the birds are back at the feeder, I look through the binoculars and watch till they fly off again (and again). Works perfectly for what I bought it for.
