Hot & Cold Therapy Pack- Back & Abdomen Wrap - Natural & Reusable Heating Pad - by SensaCare (New Blue Corduroy)

I got tired of the re-freezable ones sold at CVS, WalGreen, etc. Those are blue and after a while, they all get a pin hole in them and leak. I love these, very durable. I don't use for heat, so can't state that performace. For cold application, they work well, no leaks, comfortable-no edges that make wearing uncomfortable. The elastic band and velcro are still in top condition. I use these daily @ 20 minutes a time, multiple times and they are nine months old. I would recommend that their large one be the one you purchase because that has the sleeve that is removable and washable, the ones I bought aren't washable like that. Sum: they are comfortable to use, long lasting, and work.

Heats up great and the herbal scent is lovely. The elastic strap is surprisingly secure with Velcro and easy to adjust, but I do feel like the connecting Velcro patch on the side could be bigger/wider. It doesn't seem to stay cold as long as it stays warm, but that's fine with me because I bought it for the microwave heating element anyway.

This is AWESOME! It's weighted to help relax you and ease pain and is made of a material that prevents it from sliding around. The heating pad is made in a tubular way to allow for even distribution of heat. This honestly is the best non electric heating pad I have ever owned! I am also able to use this as a weighted lap pad for my 9year old who has sensory processing disorder. It calms him instantly! It has worked wonders laying across his back at night too! It has a velcro strap that is able to securely keep this hot/cold pad in place while you walk or stand!The design of this allows it very unique and well made! You could wear it sitting up watching tv, standing or laying down- doesn't matter. Overall, I would highly recommend this! My husband suffers from severe lower back pain, so I thought that this "Sensacare Hot & Cold Natural Therapy Back/Abdomen Wrap, New Blue, 2 Pound would be good for him. This wrap as an alternative to typical ice packs he must use regularly. He LOVES this wrap and has used it consistently before and after his recent surgery (he had 2 lower spinal slipped disks). It can be velcroed around the waist and stays put well. He's a size 42 in the hip area and has more than enough fabric to fasten it. The temperature is just right for cooling relief without needing a towel like most gel and other packs that are too cold to place directly on your skin. This gets so much use, it will be nice to have a spare, so I will go back and purchase another real soon! The fabric is made of a soft like velour is also nice and soft, I love that this is made of a great quality, and know that it will be used over and over for all injuries in the near future (hopefully there won't be any but, you never know). I often experience low back pain. My husband is in a wheelchair and partially paralyzed. I am his only caregiver. This Sensacare Hot & Cold wrap works great for me. I really love that it can do either heat or cold. It's heavy and I like that too. The weight seems to help push the relief deep into my muscles where I'm hurting. I really like this as a cold pack for initial pain. The velcro strap makes this perfect for me to wear while I'm still up moving around. The pack is also infused with essential oils. It's very aromatic and relaxing. When heated it increases the aroma and I believe the scent really helps too. The pack is sewn well and evenly. There seems to be a lot of care put into this product. The package does include instructions on how to care for this and how to heat or freeze.
