Quality cover that goes on easy
The silicone is more thin than I thought it was going to be, but that's not totally a bad thing. It covers well and goes on easy (even with the deluxe audio strap) and lines up within a minute or less. It isn't going to drop proof the item like an Otterbox, but it does what I was hoping it would and protects the open faces from minor scuffs and scrapes in VR. It looks clean when fully on.If you have friends with multiple Vives or are bringing it to LANs/Expos it would work well to distinguish yours, my only knock is that it's a little less thick than I had hoped.

Great for preventing scratches
A very nice accessory for your $800 piece of equipment. I bought this along with the GellShell's for the wands ( Hyperkin HTC Vive GelShell Wand Silicone Skin (Red) - PC ). Playing games like Quivr, I tend to hit the side of my Vive with the controller and this has done a great job in avoiding the scratches. One major flaw is it distorts and muffles the quality of the microphone because the gel is blocking it, I had just cut a little square out from where the microphone is located and that seems to have done the trick.

More like: Brick Red
Pro:- Fits well (once you get it on)- Adds a bit of bump and scratch protectionCon:- The silicon is very thin, so the black Vive mutes the cookie if the silicon. What I was expecting to be a vibrant red is more of a brick red or burnt sienna.- No instructions included. You have to remove all the straps and cords, which was scary... but ended up being no big deal.

Nice silicon cover
Decent silicon cover. Should protect well from scratches and scrapes, but that's about it. I saw the reports of this being more orange than red, but mine is a nice red color, just like the pictures. Maybe dying inconsistency issues cause the color shift between batches? I had a bit of a time getting the various holes lined up with the sensors, but once it's in place it doesn't really move. Definitely recommend picking this up.

Not as vibrant
Bought this as protection for my Vive unit. Install was fairly painless, had to remove the wires but then it stretched it to place easily. Only issue is it is so thin, the black of the unit shows through making it less red than in the pics. It looks more subdued or actually a little orange. It does what it says though.

Slightly off colored but perfect for its purpose.
Perfect for what it is a protective cover for your Vive it's slightly off colored just like the other reviews I would have enjoyed it more if it was as vibrant red as advertised. It's not gonna really protect it from a hard bash or being dropped but of course it'll reduce or negate the surface damage.

Buy it if you get bored and want to change the
The color is between red and perhaps orange. From previous reviews I though it was going to be more orange. To me the color is ok.It wont protect your headset from almost anything. Buy it if you get bored and want to change the color

Traps sweat but a great protector.
Great cover, not too thin or too thick, protects nicely from scratches and minor bumps, wish it came in black and had a slightly thicker version, but doesn't matter. Only complaint is it traps sweat after use and the underside has to be wiped dry.

Recomendado

Meh..
Honestly, first off, I didn't really find use to this protection, yeah, I do get the occasional Vive headset hit on the wall but I know where my Walls are located at and mind you, I move a lot in VR and I'm very expressive but I still am aware of my surroundings, I'd probably just recommend those for fashion purposes honestly but okay, I guess if you're new to VR, this will help a lot in the first 2 weeks of playing but after that, you probably won't need them as much and there are better designs than those simple colors out there so I'd probably recommend those more than this but yeah, that's just my opinion 2-3 weeks of using those and I had my Vr for 8 months. Packaging as always was good, Nothing broken at all.

but its a great little addition to protect my htc vive
Was a bit touched to instal with the cables, but its a great little addition to protect my htc vive :)

It does fulfill its purpose, though it's too expensive for a piece of silicone.
I would recommend this any time, though for a lower price if possible. It does what it should do though, which is keeping the VIVE save from scratches. Thank you
