Great For High Tone Pelvic Floor Dysfunction
I've had pelvic pain for the last several months. Found out I had high tone pelvic floor dysfunction. Had spinal surgery that caused a lot of secondary issues. Had no idea back pain was responsible for contributing to this very uncomfortable problem. Was told by Urologist that the back pain was making me so stressed I was holding a lot of tension in my pelvis. ( I was like WTH, how did *THAT* happen?!)It took 2 months to see a pelvic floor physical therapist (the wait was 4 months, but was able to get in sooner) During my first visit, I was given exercises to help stabilize and strengthen my SI joints (which also connect to the pelvis) And, I was introduced to this handy device on my second PT visit. It's easy to use. Wash it with warm water & soap. Dry, then and apply lubricant. Use a simi circle motion (U shape) rolling back and forth; when you find a tender spot, apply very light pressure (use the small end) I was instructed to use it twice a day for 5 minutes. At first you may only want to do it once a day and build up from there-- because twice a day is a lot if you're just starting out. *also, you don't have to inset very far *second knuckle of index fingerI was completely freaked about about using it *I'm talk deer in the headlights frozen* but if I can use it anyone can. I agree about having a PT work with you first; however, there's a lot of information on YouTube if you're willing to spend some time educating yourself. If you watch enough videos you'll be better informed. They cover what it is, what it does and how to use it. In addition, a crash course in where the pelvic floor structure is located.Hope this helps educate and clarify for anyone who also shares this fairy common condition.Update: I'm using my Wand 2 times daily.. It's really helping when I feel knotted up/urgency/pelvic floor spasm. After a lot of research on my part, I found out there's a 'Purdendal Nerve' located around S2 S3 (SI joint area) It's an often overlooked cause of pelvic floor pain...so IF you have pain in the SI joints, that nerve could possibly be a culprit. Had to bring it to my spinal pain management doctors attention. Getting a Nerve block (going though the back/SI area) to see if that little twerp may be part of the issue.

For male and female pelvic health. Not meant to be used for intimate times but can be.
This product makes it easier to release tension in the pelvic floor. I have all three types of this product. Though not meant for pleasuring it can add to intimate times. It can be used both in vagina and anally. It can be used by men or women. Too many products are only for female pelvic health but this is good for ED and leakage especially for those that have had prostate surgery. I recommend these for both pelvic rehab and pleasure.

Pelvic therapy at home
I am still trying to master this device in an effort to minimize my pelvic pain. I do find trigger points and I find this is helpful for minimizing trigger points. I have only tried cold therapy from the freezer so far and it’s very helpful. I have not tried heat yet. But in general, I am pleased

Warms up quickly
This warms up quickly and is a great tool for hypertonic pelvic floor muscles.

Not as expected but may work for you.
Got this and thought it was more bendable and could move it to the shape you need. It was very hard and stuff, did not bend. I couldn’t use it because it was too uncomfortable especially when used to relieve pain. That said, it could just because of the bladder pain I have.

Great product but heating is a scam
I love the wands and I have this one and the vibrating one. I wish I had only bought the vibrating one. I soaked in hot water as instructed but it doesn’t retain heat. They should make one that has an electric heat element so it stays warm

One of the only things that relieves pelvic pain postpartum
After having my son I started to experience horrible tailbone pain when sitting even after short periods of time. I went to a pelvic floor physical therapist who recommended this product. My problem is that my pelvic floor muscles are weak and also are very tight. This product is used internally to help massage the pelvic floor muscles to help them relax. This is one of the only things that has helped relieve my pain. This product is easy to use and easy to keep clean.
